Dr. IP talked over the phone and didn’t even let me explain, all he suggested was advil and gargle i mean if i could recover from this then why would i call obviously i needed some medication specifically for tonsils and disturbed throat. So disappointed with the service.

It was Sunday and I was helping her find a clinic who could see her son as she was holding him. Also, after calling 811, the sugggested clinic was closed. And her family Dr is not available until Monday. After re-calling multiple times as the line was continuously busy, I finally got through to the receptionist. I explained that I was calling on behalf of a mom of a sick child, and that if she could then call her to discuss the concern. The receptionist refused to call her directly and said that my friend would have to call back,m. She would have to go through the on hold process that I had just waited through. I expressed my concern, and she refused to help. She assured me she would pick up with the next call. I gave my friend the number, and the receptionist never picked up after multiple attempts. She is now just going to emerge as no clinic would offer availability. This clinic’s system lacked empathy and a sense of basic urgency regarding a sick child. Can no exception to the “system” be made for a reasonable request? It would’ve taken this receptionist 1 min to call this Mom, and make an appt, we did not “skip the line”. I am an ICU nurse, and I realize the high number of patients that require care. This was outstanding to me though.

Doctor called me and ended up calling in RX to pharmacy and then booked an in office follow up appointment few days later. Great Service and the receptionist was very friendly. I find it hard to believe some of these other negative reviews.
T	Tom on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Phone appointment only. They require to know your medical problems before the visit and determine whether or not you are worth being admitted, otherwise you are turned away and they request you see your family doctor. The receptionist is difficult at best.

The office assistants are always very helpful and kind, the manager is a gem, and the doctors are always very attentive and really care about your well being. Covid has been tough for everyone in medical care, especially for the walk in clinics, but Boundary Park Medical has adapted and they continue to provide the best care around.

The staff are friendly and accommodating, and of course it's depend on the reason they booked me in for my children to see the doctor. I highly recommend this clinic when your family doctor is not available.
S	Stacy Cao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff but Dr. Ip ignored a critical abnormal blood work result during my early pregnancy. The doctor told me everything was okay although the report shows abnormal and I raised the same issue with my medical history in my initial visit. I missed my medication for a few month as a result of their negligence and would pose a significant risk on my pregnancy and have a long lasting effect on my baby. The doctor was nice. He later called and apologized because they saw the abnormality on the report but didn’t understand what it means or what needs to be done. (It is NOT a misunderstanding. It is simply a negligence). This issue is so basic and common and would have been resolved easily with a two minute consultation with a competent doctor. Unfortunately, they chose to ignore the abnormal result. A female doctor said prenatal clinic was also “copied” on the result (the prenatal clinic doesn’t take pregnancy cases in early stage at all) and blame them for negligence (nice try, but Dr. Ip is responsible for early pregnancy). She was extremely rude on the call and kept asking why I was complaining and what I wanted out of this. Yes, although it’s unbelievable, this is actually how she treats a helpless pregnant lady. I will regret walking into this clinic for a long time given the negative and long lasting impact on my life and my family.

The receptionist told me that they are no more a walk-in clinic, and it's all by phone appointment first, she booked me a phone appointment and wants me to send them a photo, which I did. After waited for several hours, the doctor did called me. After spoken to the doctor, he gave me the time and date to come-in for him to look at at. I do have a family doctor, but sometimes its hard to get an appointment. Actually, my friend recommended this clinic to me. He said the staff were friendly and helpful. I am so impressed with the quality of service that they provided.
