Bombay Brow Bar - Kitsilano

Was here on vacation and decided to come in for a shaping. I had Geet, and she was amazing! A little pricy, but it's worth it. The tea was delicious, the massage was a nice touch, and I loved the makeup application after. Super happy with the results!

I've only recently moved to Kitsilano and was super nervous about getting my brows done at a new place. I decided to check out Bombay Brow Bar after reading the reviews. My brow sesh exceeded my expectations. The place was spotless, the service was customized for me and I felt confident at the hands of my beautician - Hina. I loved how she didn't make me feel rushed during my appointment. The rose aloe gel she put on my brows afterward was so cooling and smelled great! I will be returning to Bombay Brow Bar - Kitsilano in the future!

Got my eyebrows threaded at Bombay Brow Bar Kitsilano for the first time today - had an outstanding experience! Pooja was my beautician and she was EXCELLENT. I have gotten my brows threaded multiple times in the past, and I have never been as happy with the outcome as I was today. Pooja definitely cared a lot more about my brows than other beauticians I've had before. She has a great attention for detail, and checked multiple times throughout the process to make sure my brows were symmetrical and looking good. To be honest, it felt like Pooja was giving me a level of attention and care that she would to one of her close friends and not a client she had just met - I really appreciated this. She even was able to thread my eyebrows in a way that made it a lot less painful for me than what I've experienced in the past at other places. I thought my eyebrows had little hope when I entered the salon because they were really thin and patchy, but somehow Pooja was able to make them look really good. Pooja was also really nice during the entire process, and I felt very relaxed. I also very much enjoyed the massage that was included. Thank you SO much Pooja and Bombay Brow Bar! As a student, I wouldn't usually pay $25 for brows, but this experience was definitely worth it! Looking forward to coming back in the future.

I really enjoyed my brow session. The technicians did a very good job. They made time for me to get my brows tinted even though I didn’t book this as part of my original service. My only complaint is that they are over priced. I can get the same services done at an India spa in surrey for 8-12$. Here I pay between 25-40$. I keep going to Bombay because it is close to home and they do a good job. I’d rather pay a little bit more for the excellent service and convenience of their location.

I get my brows done here. I love them because they draw the shape with a white pencil on your brows that they think is good and show you to see if you want it that way. I have thicker eyebrows and That works for me cause I am always scared of people making them thinner. Service is good and nice atmosphere. Their head message after the brows are also the best part. Highly recommend.

I just moved back to Vancouver and was so excited to get my brows done here because in the past when I lived here years ago I always went to Bombay and loved how my brows looked. I waited 5 months for this because I’m on accutane and in the town I just moved from no one does threading. I’m also an Esthetician and specialize in brows and brazilians and anytime a client was moving to or visiting Vancouver I would always recommend Bombay. I will never recommend Bombay again. I just had my brows done today and the girl seemed friendly. She even mapped out my eyebrows with a white pencil and I was happy with that but when I left my eyebrows went from full to pencil thin and uneven. I am absolutely mortified. My eyebrows are so important to me and one of the few things I’m confident about and now I can’t even look at myself in the mirror without crying. I paid and left as fast as I could because I was on the verge of tears and felt embarrassed but when I went home I called Bombay and explained to them what happened. All I was offered was a complementary service when my eyebrows grow back. I would have rather been offered a refund. The woman obviously needs more training in how to do brows I can’t imagine ever doing to a client what she did to me. I even requested my brows as thick as possible and straight in shape and she made them pencil thin and severe rounded arch. I would never look at a client with thick eyebrows and then make them super thin without at least confirming and checking in with the client first. You can always take away more but you can’t put the hairs back. I hope no one goes through this again. The training for staff needs to be a lot better. I’m truly mortified.

I liked the end result of my lash lift/tint but the experience was horrible. The technician kept getting the chemical solution in my eye and had to wipe it off and the eye covering was painfully poking me. The worst was when she was giving me an arm massage and pushed my arm into such an unnatural position that hurt so badly and when she released my arm I nearly blacked out from the pain. My vision (even though I had my eyes covered) went hazy and i started to hyperventilate. She got me water ad I explained it was from the arm movement she did. She laughed it off.... then went right ahead and did it to the other arm. I couldn't relax after that, the whole experience freaked me out I don't think I'll be coming back.

I always do my own eyebrows but one day ended up ruining them because of bad lighting. I was lucky enough to get them fixed by one of the staff at Bombay Brow Bar :)
