β β β β β As someone who usually leaves stores being best friends with the associates an who used to sell shoes...I had a completely bizarre experience today. Was offered help, provided shoes to try...and then just completely ignored/ abandoned. The associate chatted to colleagues, looked things up on the computer, engaged with new customers who'd just walked in, while I sat there for over 10 minutes waiting without shoes on..finally I went over to another associate who was very apologetic and helped me find some Fly Londons that fit perfectly! Hit or miss on who helps you out here.

β β β β β Was turned away at the door just before closing time. I drove 40 minutes to get there due to construction on Broadway. They didn't have to let me in, but I explained that I knew what I wanted and I could simply pay if they had the size, so I really wished that they could be just a bit empathetic. I was told to come back tomorrow morning and they couldn't do anything to help me. Just wasn't the best experience, but oh well, I'll live.

β β β β β Not the greatest customer service, end up chasing employees round the store to get their attention to try something on. Also don't agree with their no refund policy where you can only exchange/get store credit.

β β β β β Really poor customer experience. You try to find a product online and call the store. The guy that picks up the phone says "I'm just the shoe guy." You have to call long distance to their store in Edmonton to find out that the shoe that you want is out of stock (even though it doesn't show this online). They make you find the product codes for them and essentially do the work for them. How is this good service? They don't provide solutions, just more words. How would you feel if you were the customer??

β β β β β Great shoe store. I would suggest that it has the best variety/selection in the city. Problem, service needs to be better. The retail experience needs to be just that. A Great Experience! The store is busy enough to justify a Great Retail Experience. The shoes being purchased at Gravity Pope are not shoes I would consider ordering online. Feet need to be sized. Shoes need to be tried on. Some customer attention is helpful. The store would probably sell more if customers received more attention.
