Very nice campground but was very quiet when we were here just after labour day. Rented cabin #2 which was a great deal for the price with washrooms right next door that were new and very clean and the views from the beach 10 feet away were spectacular

The place spectacular with the lake at the front of our cabin. This place offers a lot of entertainment for kids as well as for adults. It will be worth visiting the second time around and worth recommending to my friends because of what it offers and also due to its vastness and cleanliness.

Very unorganized company, stayed there with 3 trailers and they forgot to book one site. The sites you can book for short term are not laid out very well. Small with no privacy, the sewer hose was right beside our fire pit. ** PLEASE BE AWARE** I booked another week there in July not knowing where the site was (section Q). The new part of the campground is an open field gravel pad. I'm glad I stayed there for a weekend to see what I had booked. I obviously cancelled the week reservation and they tried to charge me a cancellation fee. (They were not transparent that they built on to the campground, before I went to the campground I had to call 3 times to figure out where Q was). No matter who you talk to in the front office they were very rude. When I originally book for the weekend I had to call a couple times just to talk to someone to book a site. They kept saying we're too busy, call back later or we will call you back (never received one call back)

Wasn’t what we were expecting. The pictures on the website and the actual campground are totally different. We were given a site under construction, no trees, no grass, piles of top soil and looks like gravel pit with heavy machinery working on the campsite. The first 10 feet of The lake had algae and some black gunk. The sites are large with really good running water.

Nice campground on the lake. It was very hard to make a reservation, took 3 calls and an email before I got a person able to do it. Their reservation link on the website didn't work either. The "new" area is basically field camping, glad we were not in that side.

We went there for may long weekend. Very nice campground on the lake with lots of trees and activities for the kids to do ! It is a bigger campground so it is a little busy with traffic coming and going. But other than that it was great. The owner suggested a couple of sites for us and two other families which were on the lake with full hookups. All in all we will definitely be back there again ! Would suggest to any friends or family to hear there for a weekend !

We rented cabin 2 and it was great. Right on the water, has a great fire pit. They provide some kitchen items and a hot plate and have cold water and a kettle. Very rustic but they also provide a heater. Bed were clean and would definitely recommend! The only thing is our door was closed with a padlock and wouldn't stay shut on its own... so if one person was inside and one was out it made it difficult to keep the door closed. That and some comfy Muskoka chairs would make this the perfect rustic getaway!

We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. It is a huge campground with mostly seasonal rentals. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The campers were friendly as well and respectful for the most part. You can go for a nice walk/run without even leaving the campground! There are lots of areas for kids to play and a couple of playgrounds with a trail to the beach which looks like it would be well used in the summer. It was very muddy when we arrived and lots of areas that appeared to be under construction. They had way more rain this year than normal so it was to be expected. Things dried up nicely over the few days we were there. There is a new 50 Amps area that will be really nice once the trees start to grow….sites appear a bit narrower but still quite nice. It doesn’t;t appear as though the staff respond to their emails to frequently so make sure you phone if they don’t respond. Cell service is very weak here however we found Slave Lake town has a beautiful library so we could continue with home-schooling. The only things that could use a bit of β€œtweaking” are: The noise level on weekends as there were a few groups gathering on the long weekend that were fairly loud late into the night. Lots of kids driving around the golf carts with their dogs off leash that could be intimidating There doesn’t seem to be any restrictions on what you can build or put up so there are a few places that look like β€œcompounds” within the campground. It is still worth the stay just be prepared!
