★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needs updating. Typical Canadian fishing campground from the 1970's . Needs some loving care. Ok for couple nights to visit the area. No soap in bathrooms at all whilst I stayed, and with Covid you would think this was important. Not allowed on the dock, would only stay again if I couldn't find another campground and was desperate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Remember folks you're camping! Not the quitest place but you're right next to the ocean, lots of beautiful seashells to find, friendly service, toilets, dollar showers and access to a boatlaunch. You can crab right off the dock! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner wakes up every morning around 6-7 am and drives his diesel truck which sounds like it has an aftermarket exhaust (really really loud) through the campsite. He doesn't make an effort to keep the noise down because you can tell that he is stepping on it from just how loud it is. It has woken me up every morning so far, really disappointing. Aside from that, this place has a nice location but is not maintained well at all, the washrooms are rarely clean and the laundry services barely work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall the place is rundown, it must have been beautiful back in the 70’s. Someone put love into this place at one point long ago.
Cons
•The owner was rude and brash with us
•It is not safe a place for children
•the dock is in dire need of maintenance
•There was loud vehicles ripping around in the late evening
•The shower situation is awkward
•it’s over priced compared to other camps in the area (45/night)
•there is no soap in the restrooms
•we were excited to see that they offered mini putt but we were disappointed to see it in disrepair

•the facilities were clean
•big old growth trees
•cute harbour seals

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, great people, mini golf. pools out of order, but no matter sooke potholes and 10 other swimming locations 5 min drive any directions seals on the dock daily, bring fish they like fish. . It's a nice spot and the people who run it are super nice. Bring flip flops and loonies for the showers.
