★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our stay in the Bear Mountain Motel, it was located to all amenities. The marina, coffee shops, and restaurants were all within walking distance. The room was small but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but the shower was great. The staff were very friendly and the services were great! I would definitely stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been returning to Waterton for two decades, and the Bear Mountain Motel is, by far, our favourite place to stay. The rooms are like perfectly kept time-capsules from the '50s. Not to mention clean, well equipped, and comfortable. On our recent stay, we accidentally dropped our son's cherished stuffy in the alley behind the motel - before returning to Calgary. Vic and the owners not only found the lost stuffy but mailed it back to us. And it's that level of service that you can't put a price on. We highly recommend the Bear Mountain Motel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bear mountain began as an unplanned stay due to motorcycle troubles, but it turned into such a great discovery of a wonderful little treasure. When I first arrived the staff were quite busy, but they stopped and took the time to assure me that they definitely had a room available for me to stay. I spoke with owner about my bike troubles and asked if there was a hardware store in town, I needed some duct tape to pat hbip my motorcycle. Not only was the owner so helpful and kind she brought me enough duct tape to rebuild my bike ? The bear mountain staff and owners instantly feel like family, they went above and beyond to make what would have been an otherwise dtressful day amazing. Thanks guys! I will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends and family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Motel is rustic, beautiful and very clean! We were there June of 2022, and felt like we were family! If a simple, rustic room …with the Rocky MTS out your front door is what your after…this motel will not disappoint! If your a dark coffee lover….OMG their Dark roast is very aromatic! (no cheap generic here!). Jimmy & Ashley, you have aced peaceful serenity! ?♥️?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for four nights in July/August 2021. The owners are right there and taking care of you. The staff were so kind and helpful, and happy to have us as part of the family for our time in Waterton. The units are cozy (small) but that was expected as it is mostly in its original state. The full kitchen was a bonus. Will stay there again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just returned from a few days in Waterton, and had an excellent stay at the Bear Mountain Motel. It is exactly as advertised - clean and comfortable. While it is a bit dated, the service more than makes up for it. We enjoyed the free coffee and spot to fill water bottles, and appreciated them accommodating our dog. The staff were all incredibly friendly and a helpful, and we'll definitely choose this motel again on our next visit!
