Almost everything was way out of my price range. I might have considered buying out of my price range, but was pointed out bikes that were "low end" and "nothing special." Felt like I was being pressured to NOT buy bikes there.

With the way things are now, bring a hat to stand in the sun while you wait, but you will be given attention when it is your turn. The staff are working like machines to get everyone a bike as quickly as possible!

Recently they have fixed my Rockhopper bike’s shifting problems and made some upgrades. I left feeling better than when I dropped my bike and I was surprised when the bill is little less than expected. I definitely recommend to this shop to anyone who is looking for great customer service experience and quality work done.

I spoke to the owner of backpeddling about this problem and he told me, condescendingly, that I could believe what I wanted but obviously the seat post was too small. He offered to sell me an expensive dropper post. I was put off by this discussion and went to another shop. They replaced the quick release and I never had the problem again.

S	Stephen Kelly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought my bike to Backpeddling specifically because their website claims they love to service all makes and types of bikes. Or not! I took an older mountain bike in for a rebuild. I'm an avid cyclist and I knew going in that I could easily buy a comparable new bike for less than I was happy and willing to spend to keep a bike with sentimental value to me. The service guy clearly didn't want to work on my dirty old bike. He said he "couldn't let me spend that kind of money" on it. That's mechanic speak for- I'll sell you a bike but I don't want to fix this old thing. I already ride a high end Trek, rebuilding my old bike wasn't out of need- just something I hoped to do -cost was never an issue. Disappointed for sure! Don't make false claims and then tell potential customers they can't get what they ask for.
