Very poor customer service; I sent an email to their customer service re: amount owing as I never received a statement and the auto reply says we will be contacted within one business day. Its been now one week and have not heard back.

Saved a lot on admin fees by signing up both electricity and gas with them.Love their annual loyalty bonus, and they did keep their words rebated energy costs of January 2017 as a gift. Credit card payments are accepted as well.

Hideous experience. Tried to sign up with them to change over from Direct Energy with natural gas and electricity. Over the phone, everything was well and good, but then received a subsequent phone call, saying that we did not have a credit rating (although they could have looked at our payments with Direct Energy or any other bank or credit cards I was willing to provide them for). Thus Atco told me that we would have to give them a deposit fee, $200 for the natural gas hook-up, and another $200 for the electrical hook-up. What a complete scam!!! The only thing I can think of that this company does not have more reviews is that they would all be negative and that the company removes them.

It’s the people who make ATCO great. They are just simply amazing at their job. They truly go above and beyond the call of duty for their customers in an environment of which safety is paramount.

Amazingly bad customer service and they did a hard credit check without even asking. Called 6 times and didn't solve my problem a single time. Switched over to Epcor, which is saying something in itself.

I have pre authorized payments with Atco. My bill is due Nov.14. I call Atco on Nov.1 to ask if I pay my bill early will they still debit my account. The lady says " no, your balance will be at zero so there will be nothing to debit, you will be ok to pay it because its early enough" so I go ahead and pay the bill early. I look at my account today and they took the money even though I paid it already. I call them and they tell me I should know how pre-authorized payments work and I shouldn't have done that. They also say because she didnt pull my account information when I CALLED FIRST TO MAKE SURE I CAN PAY MY BILL, they have no record that I called so it's on me. NOW I look at my account this evening and they have now given me an NSF charge and so has my bank because I didnt have the money in my account on the 14th even though my bill is already paid and I can prove it, never paid my bill early before and I do understand how preauthorization works or I wouldnt have called them to check first or pay the bill early.?????????? Worst company ever, now have to waste a bunch of my time fighting to get these NSF payments reversed And fix my account, unneeded stress and waste if time.

I am on equalized billing and when this year was up I owed money. I didn't want my monthly bill to go up so I called and paid off the negative balance. They promised me my monthly bill would go down next month, and it did, by 4 cents. I called back, and they told me this was my bill now with no chance of it going down. She had the nerve to tell me it was so high because I used 300 dollars of electricity in one month. The 300 dollars she was talking about was the bill of me paying off a years worth of accumulated money from equalized billing that wasn't set high enough. I had to call multiple times and eventually demanded a manager. The manager was nice, lowered my bill, and promised the next one would come at the lower amount. The next month comes and I didn't get a bill at all. When I called the woman told me they didn't get my usage and I would have to call the company that supplies my electricity and gas because she is not authorized to call on my behalf. I called one, who asked me why ATCO didnt call on my behalf. She promised me there are strict rules and my usage was sent. When I called ATCO back they had a whole list of other excuses but said I would be double billed next month with my equalized billing amount. Imagine my surprise when mid way through the month I received a random bill for a random amount due on a random date. When I called they couldn't give me a single answer because every single person at their call center is the most useless person I've ever talked to. No one at this company has any idea what's going on. I was lucky enough to receive a phone call survey asking me how I felt about ATCO. Incase anyone is wondering, I feel like this company should just do the world a favor and go out of business already.

Employees are usually a treat to deal with. But maybe a thorough audit of business transactions and allocation of added fees that seem to magically make billing go up drastically are needed
