*The $408 in savings is calculated from people who have switched to Energy For Less from other companies.  The calculation is based on anecdotal evidence, things that clients have told us about the companies they used to deal with.  Some people have only saved $10 per month, while others have saved over $100 a month.  Not everyone will save, although most do.  The guarantee still applies though.  For anyone who switches to Energy For Less for electricity and natural gas, we guarantee you will save a minimum of $34 a month.  If you don't, under the following conditions, we will write you a cheque for $102.  If you feel you qualify for this guarantee, then send us your invoice from the company you switched from from electricity, and natural gas,, along with our 3 invoices, AND the invoices from the company you switched to.  If the $34 savings per month is not there, then we will issue you a cheque for the $102.  Note that if you do not or cannot signup for both products, then this guarantee does not apply to you. Our retention rate is extremely high.  Once people start using Energy For Less, they rarely switch to other companies.   Note that the other items on your invoice, such as distributor fees, transmission fees, balancing pool fees, Rider fees, and others, are regulated through provincial legislation and won't be changed no matter which retailer you use.

I have been with Energy For Less for over a year now. My bills are as low as they claimed. The bills are easy to read. They are so transparent that I can tell why I am paying what I am paying. I am also about to switch my internet service over to them too. It is nice to deal with a local company with a local call centre that actually answers the phone quickly. They respond to emails usually within 30 minutes when I have questions.

They should be called "Energy for More " do some homework and shop around. Tough to speak with anyone on the phone. No customer loyalty program , un competitive rates. I should have left sooner. Complete regret ?

Terrible rate. "Use less, pay more" or "Energy for MORE" should be their name ! Exagerated distribution charges from 50 $ for a big month to 155 $ for a small month (just for distribution, don't talk about consumption). And, we always use the approx same energy but they can charge us for 430 kWH and other time 300 kWH, no-sens in the two last months (no AC or something else like that) ! When I ask them to explain, they said they don't have control on nothing... No way ! Some times they charge me for 6 types off distribution charges (Distribution, local access fee, rider, transmission, utility deferral adjustment, distribution estimate) and some other times juste 1 type: distribution.

IF YOU NEVER WANT TO HAVE ISSUES RESOLVED IN LESS THAN A MONTH!!!! I've been calling every day leaving voicemails which no one has called me back. Its been 5 days of calling no response. Their Email communication is USELESS since its 1 email from them MAYBE PER DAY, to resolve issues w my account. Last email I got from them they claimed "I do not have power with them it must be another provider, we only have you as a customer for internet." WHAT, I sent my monthly invoices which I assure I am 100% an electric power customer. So if you want a company that MIGHT save you some dollars in exchange for 0 customer service, choose this one. They'll claim they assist customer via telephone but its a lie. They only allow you to stay on hold for 2 minutes then force you to leave a message instead of waiting on hold for their reps. Email assistance is virtually useless when you have financial problems needing to be fixed right away. Get used to being unprioritized w your concerns w this company. Ps. My start up last year took 3 weeks to get set up. In my life experience calling a power company to Switch your energy to another apartment is a 1 day thing. Internet a week maybe to have a tech come in w telus & hook up. Its not a complicated process. This company will tell you it takes a week at least just for electric & cannot give you ANY idea WHEN you'll have your power hooked. Update: Got a call back but had to escalate as my electric account (apparently they signed me under 2 different account for internet and power wth?), for a 300.00 dollar charge when my monthly has always been roughly 50.00 They are telling me my electric was cancelled Aug 31 2021.....WHAT. My 1 year lease ended then but I didn't cancel my account or get any notifications they were closing my account. While BEING CHARGED STILL. Now I'm waiting to hear back, the girl on the call told me it appears there's a 110.00 charge for some kind of "relocation fee".... This is all pretty messed up for having 0 communication w the company making changes on me? Is that even legal?

Signed up for a floating rate plan. Obviously big mistake based on the summer prices. But this outfit charged as much as ~$0.19 a KWh. Always had troubles reaching them by phone. I contacted Energy For Less before the allotted three month "cheaper than your previous provider " guarantee. Didn't get back to me until afterwards and said I had passed the window. When I explained I contacted them before, the agent said she would speak to her supervisor and get back to me. Never heard back. Cancelled and switched back to a fixed plan. If this business doesn't go under from bad service it will when everyone switches back to fixed rate.

Stay away!!! The worst company ever. Customer service doesn’t exist, you have to leave a message to talk to someone and after they call you they have no answers and hang up on you. And you have to call, leave a message again….. very poor customer service skills. Decided to switch to another company.

Beware this company sends out gift cards for 5 star reviews. Avoid at all costs. Terrible customer service and my bills ended up more.

Was considering switching to this company. After reading reviews I noticed every 5 star rating was fake . If you check their profiles these bots have rated the same 5 companies.. sketchy
