We were informed halfway through our order that we were close to exceeding our limit of tasters, even though we had already ordered multiple cans(that we had tasted). This was our first unfortunate experience here, first time we came the staff were helpful and friendly.

Staff member Nick was one of those know-it-all's who actually didn't know much. When asked if they had any Belgian beers on tap, he responded "No, they're not in season." Is Nick aware beer is brewed and not picked from a tree? When asked what factors are considered when choosing beers to keep on tap, he responded "We carry whatever I like to drink." Well thank you, Nick. I'm glad we all have to drink what you like. Growlers were not properly sanitized and lids were reused. Atmosphere was cold and uninviting. Please support local businesses instead of people like Nick.

There’s no place to sit in this shop but you can taste 60+ local draft beer from alberta in a little sampler for free, ask questions about the beer they have, order some beer that you like in a can or a growler. Price is reasonable. I would say it’s similar to buying beer from local brewery. I love that I could buy all good fresh draft beer from different cities, towns in Alberta and enjoy all of them in my hotel room. Will come back every time I visit Canmore.

As a fan of beer, they absolutely nail every angle - you can consume a flight of literally anything you can dream of, or commit to a mix of cans to take home. They even have some decent non-alcoholic beverages if that's your thing. Prices are great, selection is second to none. I wish them nothing but success.
