★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited on Friday night to catch LifzGood Acoustic - music was fantastic! Was honestly so great to get out and listen to live music again.
Service/Food/Drinks on the other hand were extremely subpar, with the exception of our server. Our server was nice, however the restaurant is not enforcing any masking. Sure, they ask for your negative test/proof of vaccination at the door, however only 2 out of 10 staff was wearing masks or wearing it properly (thankfully our server was one of the 2). Almost all of the patrons going to the washroom didn't bother to put their masks on, it is obvious that they allow it to happen.
We ordered drinks and only one appetizer to share while we listened to the music. Ordered the kettle chips, very underwhelming - these are just BBQ kettle chips thrown in a deep fryer and served with salsa and guacamole. Super lacking in flavour. The wine was really good, although it was served in varying vessels to the table, which was a little odd. The beer was not very cold and one of the glasses was very flat.
Décor is very very dated, this pub could use a major overhaul. Don't think that we would return unless there were some major changes/improvements.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly never felt more unwelcome in a restaurant, which is a shame as the food and drinks are great. Server never came to check on our table after bringing food or drinks, and left us sitting for well over a half hour as we just wanted to pay and leave. Honestly not worth the headache as the staff all are willing to ignore tables

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Atmosphere was great. Unfortunately the server did not seem interested in being friendly/doing their job. Seemed quite annoyed that we sat in their section. The food was okay, and the drinks were great, but unfortunately the server lacked professionalism and friendliness.

She was clearly not happy to be working on a Tuesday night and did last call early (we showed up at 1030 and she said that last call had already happened) when other tables were still being served and the restaurant was still very busy. Also we went on a night that had tequila shots on special for 5$ and we're still charged the regular price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well I'm going to give two stars because the waitress was great, and the ambience of music was quiet enough (outside at lunch time on a Wednesday) that we were able to relax. Now that's out of the way... the food. Outrageous priced for next to slop. My poutine came out cold and the cheese was just lumpy and was not going to melt. Sent back to the kitchen - round two was better but came back as a much smaller portion than the first set. For $16... I swear they were just McCain thin fries... not worth it at all. Second... my wife's fish and chips were soggy. Crispy batter? NOPE!! soggy batter and the fish was mediocre. I had a coffee, she had water. Total was over $40 plus tip. I mean... I've had way nicer meals for less. The food should be a ZERO STARS....
