Dr. Wenli Wang is a masterclass TCM practitioner. In my opinion she is not only the best acupuncture therapist in Calgary but she genuinely is a healer at heart as from my experience she goes above and beyond to restore her clients. She can evaluate in seconds and immediately gets to the root of the issue afflicting your health. She is gentle, humble, understanding and yet so understatedly knowledgeable it would be a mistake to not to heed her advice. Exceptional. Dr Wengli Wang is truly a gifted physician, and I really don’t say that lightly. I have serious life threatening medical issues related to my endocrine system as well as several co-morbidities. I was rear ended a year ago by a large SUV, and my injuries are full body (every section of my spine, both my shoulders, my SIs, my pelvis, my jaw, arms, hands, wrists, lumbar sacral region, nerve pain down my legs 360, nerve pain from my neck down my arms and into my fingers etc.) I can go to Wengli in unimaginable pain and disability, and every time I leave I walk out better than I was before by a significant degree. Her treatments are thoughtful, well executed and effective. It is clear that she has the training of an MD which amplifies her abilities as an acupuncturist. Her skill with her needles is incredibly precise and painless. In a warm and comfortable room, I lay with my treatment in and listen to beautiful instrumental and orchestral music that lulls me into a trance state while there needles do their work. What an incredible feeling. My treatments include needles, cupping, electrical stimulation, acu-pressure and manual release and massage. While every treatment is different depending on what I need, every treatment is incredibly effective. For example, I have TMD from the MVA. After 1 treatment I the unyielding pain in my jaw is gone for 10-14 days, and with every treatment that margin give grows larger. I have more mobility in my jaw. (And this is the least of my problems lol) Having musculoskeletal injuries is especially difficult with a condition that complicates healing. After Wengli’s treatments, I am able to stand without my T-spine constricting my breathing…sleep without constant pain shooting down my legs…hold my shoulders that have bursitis, rotator cuff tears and tendinitis up without agony…and exist with less anxiety invading my life. She 100% resolved my husband’s repetitive strain injury that physio could not help. Her treatment for smoking cessation did the heavy lifting when it came time for my dad to call it quits. My mom is a warrior sitting at a desk again because the nerve damage caused by a negligent surgeon has resolved. I have spend so long in western medicine with such a complex health history. All of the specialists I see recommend acupuncture. Wengli can treat almost anything, she is an exceptionally talented doctor, and she is kind and humble. I would recommend her to anyone who is suffering, or in need of treatment that is effect, affordable and truly improves life.
