Dr. Karen Brust - Calgary
Born and raised in Calgary, you will find Karen either on the running paths, on her bike or surfing the books, actively striving for excellence.
Before opening her own clinic, Dr. Karen has been an acupuncturist and Registered Massage Therapist at Calgary Spine and Sport for over 24 years. She continually tries to strive to increase her knowledge and dedicated herself to increase awareness to alternative medicines.
Dr.Brust graduated from Calgary College of Traditional Medicine and Acupuncture in 2011 with her Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After completeing her internship in 2010 at the China-Japan Friendship hospital in China, Dr.Brust brings forth many different Chinese techniques and life experiences. Integrating Eastern philosophies (meridians and acupuncture/herbs) with Western knowledge /techniques (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, anatomy with deep tissue works) along with experience makes her an incredible asset to the clinic.
