Any pre packed deli foods...dont waste your cash. Either stale, half rotten or tasteless. Whatever you do, stay away from their deli Chinese foods. Gag.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my local Safeway. The reno is done! The outside facade was fully upgraded during the reno. All coolers, freezers and shelving were replaced with latest thin door models (LED lights). A new full kosher aisle, #9, was installed and fully stocked with additional displays at Passover. Meat department was upgraded with more deli selection and fish displays. Floral department was refreshed. Flooring was changed in produce with new coolers. Recently installed is an Infarm vertical display with live herbs.
Starbucks has new tables for customers. All registers at front were updated. For the Grand Reopening, new shopping cart were delivered. This is a new store on same footprint.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great customer service at the meat counter, I just asked what are the different size slices for a pepperoni; as I was getting ingredients for a pizza, I needed to have the meat to the perfect thickness to have on a pizza. The gentleman showed me a slice for a cut labeled, it was too thick, he showed me one at 1.5 slice and it was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent customer service at the flower section this afternoon. Many thanks to the lady that helped me make a very nice flower arrangement based on my selection. I went to 2 different flower shops and with no luck finding something that I was looking for.
The other places were trying to sell the pre-set arrangements but not willing to make a new one with my selection.
Here, I found both the selection and great customer service. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to agree w/the earlier commendation RE: Meat Dept. Unfortunately I did not get their names, the one fellow is younger and the other fellow re-wrapped a few chickens for me. If there was 10STARS these 2 would get it. Amazing customer service. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed, they really do care.
