At Save-On-Foods, going the extra mile is nothing new. Actually, we’ve gone above and beyond in all areas of our business since we started, way back in 1915. Originally, we were called Overwaitea Food Group because of the founder’s practice of selling 18 ounces of tea for the price of 16, and the name “overweight tea” stuck. Fast forward over 100 years and that name has changed, but we’re still known for delivering extra value to our customers. Today our company is best known for its most prominent banner—Save-On-Foods—but also includes PriceSmart Foods, Urban Fare and Bulkley Valley Wholesale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been using this pharmacy ever since it opened. The pharmacists/staff are very helpful, very knowledgeable and extremely patient. I am happy to have them help me with whatever shots I need and refills on my prescriptions. I actually live in the apartment building attached to this SaveOn location but if you live in the area it is a nice friendly spot for your pharmaceutical needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Save on foods is a good place to go to buy things that will nourish and feed you. It all depends on the level you want. The staff is friendly and courteous. The store is well lit and clean. If you’re looking for food this is the place. This location is convenient and plenty of parking even underground which is great in the winter time. Save on foods is well stocked and the quality is always top notch. I have shopped at many different Save on Foods locations and have always enjoyed the experience. Same level of service always.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been displaced since my Safeway at Southland crossings closed. For a year I have been going to other Safeway's that aren't so close. Yesterday I went to this Save-On-Foods! What a beautiful store! I had to go back today! This store doesn't disappoint ❤️It's now my new Grocery store ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the pleasure of being served by Brian one evening recently, I believe he was stationed at the Deli/fresh protein area, I came in for a cake for my grandma (late) and the bakery was closed up :( he helped me out and packaged up the cake I had selected with such speed and Care it was like he had been doing it for years! So great work to Brian!
Additionally this store is always very clean and well stocked l with a whole team of staff just as helpful as Brian!
Thanks everyone for working hard i will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store is the best! The deli is delicious and the produce is fresh. The store is clean and the prices are fair. Their rewards system is the best. Can't sing enough praises for Save-On Foods at Heritage Stn and Virgos know what they're talking about when they say "clean" Make sure to say HI to Doug and Roger when you visit the deli! :)
