I usually enjoy coming here, great clothes and the staff are wonderful usually. Today while I was trying on clothes, the manager came to the change room door and came right in-when she knocked, I said I’m doing okay, assuming that’s what it was, but she came into the change room while I had no top on in the moment. I assume that she didn’t know I was in there, but she did not wait for me to answer after knocking (?), and flew right in. Afterwards, all she did was stare at me and did not apologize. It was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing. Usually I would have said something, but I wasn’t feeling well today so I was keeping to my own. After this, I still proceeded to make a purchase, but I will not be returning to this location. Other staff have been great-not sure who the manager is, but made today an awful experience.

Terrible experience...extreme control and behaviorial issues enforcing their store policies on consumers who may potential spend their hard earned money on their products. Perhaps AE employees need some training in how to treat a paying customer..

Excellent service, large selection, always great deals and the staff are always so up beat and helpful. They know there styles and are always on the go to get you fitted up. Love this tire and have been going there for at least 10 years. Supper fantastic clothes and staff make it worth the visit

Worst shopping experience I've had. If I could give 0 stars I would. Management is absolutey lazy, and horrible. I was in the store for a full 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged me even though there were 3 people, who I can only assume are the managers, doing nothing but chatting away. When one of them finally spoke to me his tone was extremely rude and he was clearly unwilling to leave his conversation to help me. It seemed he and the other managers were too busy talking and laughing amongst themselves at the tills to help the customers in the store. Instead I watched them sit back and do nothing, while their employees were running around like chickens with their heads cut off, trying to make sure all the customers were taken care of. With that being said the girl who helped me in the fitting room was very helpful and pleasant. I have been shopping at this location for years and have never had an issue with their service until now. I am appalled at the behavior of the managers and the way they treated me, so much so that I have made a choice to never spend another dime of my money there and I encourage everyone to do the same.

Staff is always so friendly and helpful! They do a great job making you feel welcome, gather clothes in the right sizes for you, and make it worth actually doing to a store to try on clothes rather than just ordering online.

Was shopping at American Eagle today, and was not impressed at all by the service! Snotty cashier thought she would put her two cents in on why I should let my daughter get jeans that looked horrible on her, when she did not even see how they looked when my daughter tried them on! She actually got irritated with the other staff member (who was the one who saw my daughter wearing the jeans) and myself, for not agreeing with her. The other staff member who was very nice, and was the one helping us with the jeans, tried to explain why the jeans did not look good, and she didn't seem to want to listen to either of us. I don't appreciate feeling like I am being told how to parent by some snotty store clerk! Very rude! Does not make me want to go back. Music was way too loud as well!!!

One of my favorite stores to go to for jeans and sweaters. The selection is good, prices reasonable and staff are excellent.

There is nothing wrong with the brand itself, I love all of their products BUT I think there needs to be some major customer service training in this specific store. I’ve had friends tell me stories about going in and nobody acknowledging them which is a big no no in customer service. I went in under the impression that I wouldn’t be acknowledged either but instead the employees were very overbearing. One girl asked me if I needed help with anything and when I said no, she let me be. Another girl who was only standing a few feet away asked me directly after if I needed help AGAIN. I said I was on break with a time limit and just taking a look. This is when she chimed in and said β€œWell that’s what we’re here for, to help you get in and out fast” and kept insisting on helping me. Customers shouldn’t have to say no more than once. If they say NO and end up needing help with something, they’ll tell you. This store needs to find a happy medium between not acknowledging customers and being overbearing because honestly that just scares customers away. Not to mention that many of them have a stuck up attitude/vibe to them rather than a laid back and welcoming vibe. I have a friend who works here so this isn’t meant to be an attack but more so just input.
