★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid $40 to get a pair of knee high boots shined up. They've not seen a shine since I bought them 4 maybe 5 years ago and look good as new now.
Cash only neighborhood place, the guy whom I assume is the owner was friendly enough and polite. I don't know know what the prices of other places are like but I'd probably be back for the convenience alone.

Do not come here and do not trust him with your shoes.
He will chit chat and flatter you and compliment the quality of your footwear, then proceed to scam you.
His cost for replacing the rubber sole on some cheap worn down shoes was $78. No I’m not kidding.
The shoes cost $70.
Regular places won’t charge more than $20 for sole replacement.
When I came back to pickup my shoes next morning after dropping them off and seeing the terrible reviews, he had already started and replaced the rubber on a tiny stiletto heel and took out the zipper in one of my boots. He charged me $75 for the “work” and to get my things back.
All of his prices are high and he’s got a nasty attitude so please save yourselves the stress and money.
Ali’s shoe repair deserves to be shut down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service! Very rude owner. I took my pair of heels for repair. He repaired just one, and when I came to get my shoes he wanted to charge me more money to repair the second one. I refused and took my shoes. The worst part was that the repair was terrible and not properly done.
Save time and don't go to this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I couldn’t be happier with the work and had no problem with his pricing because my shoes aren’t cheap shoes either.You pay for what you get. I came upon on this place last year having coffee with a client next door. He was very friendly and easy to deal with .I use to go to another local shoe repair in Richmond and I have since switched. Reading some of the reviews about this place it’s doesn’t seem to be accurate at all. It’s a service business, You don’t like the price go somewhere else. Ali your great and I have recommend you to a lot of my colleagues and they are all happy with your work.
