Booked an appointment last minute and got in on the same day. Took my iPhone 8+ that had been broken due to water damage for over 2 years and they fixed it in less than 30 mins! Very happy with the service

I went to get my S10+ front glass replaced here on March 21. The guy finished the repair in about an hour which was really impressive and convenient, but when I went to pick up my phone I realized he had replaced the front and back glass with the wrong coloured hardware. I asked why he replaced my back glass and he said it was because he damaged the original back glass during the repair. The invoice also shows that he used the wrong coloured parts (for the ceramic version instead of the Prism white version). I'm hoping to get this resolved at a different location, but for now this is where my rating stands. The two stars are for the speediness of the repair, which would have been nice if it was done correctly. Very disappointed. Edit: My problem was resolved at the Vancouver location on Granville & W Broadway. They were much clearer on the process and I recommend going to them for any repairs, not this location. Was also informed by Samsung that if I had kept my phone the way it was after this location "repaired" it, it would have voided my warranty.

Kapoo at ubreakifix at this location was amazing, told me information to look out for on my phone insurance policy. Which saved me 200 dollars. He fixed it and everything works like new. Took 45 mins.

*Battery tips for all. Don't charge your phone over night especially nowadays quick charging only takes an hour for a full charge. Instead only charge during the day when you need it. Thx to the store rep Mohan who told me this* My Google Pixel 4 XL was out of warranty and my battery needed repairing. Notifications on my phone indicated my battery had limited charging capacity and that meant I needed repair soon. Google service reps recommended this store to do the repair. Before going to the store I gave them a call. The service rep Mohan was attentive and gave me a quick repair solution hassle free, no upselling, just straight up repair info that I could action on. He also mentioned the repair would only take 45 mins. So I went in, and had him take a look at the phone. It was clear to him the battery needed replacing and he assured me no data would be lost. There was no need to backup anything or reset my phone. The total price was clear up front, no hidden charges, so I left my phone with Mohan and 45 min later my battery was replaced. He even showed me my previous battery was swelling and that anytime my phone was going to die so it was good I replaced it in time. I paid after and was super happy with the service. Totally recommend repairing your phone here. This is a Google authorized repair center. From getting a notification that my battery had issues to getting my repair done I am super happy with owning a Google Pixel and these repair shops. Thank u!

My iPhone SE still works great, just needed a new battery. I figured, if it's broken in the process then oh well, then I will finally just get a new phone. I popped in to ask if they could do it, I left to go get a coffee and came back in 30min and it was done, works perfect. #RightToRepair!

I just got my phone fixed at uBreakiFix Richmond BC yesterday and they were super helpful! My phone was completely fixed (front screen, back camera, and back glass) in about 45 minutes! I will definitely return to this location again when I inevitably drop my phone again.

An overall awful experience. I took my device in on Friday afternoon, I had a hardware issue with my Google phone, it was covered under warranty and this location is a Google Certified Service Provider, and was recommended to me by Google. Upon arriving I was told there would be no issue, it should hopefully be ready the next day, although their website claims services can be done by the end of the day if brought in before 5pm, which it was. The next day I received a phone call stating the phone was repaired, however they could not release it to me stating there was a portal issue on their end, and they would keep me updated. My partner called them a few hours later to check in, and the story has now changed to they are having issues with Google putting the claim through. The next day we call the store, and get the same story that there are still portal issues. The phone is repaired, they cannot release it to me however due to an issue they are having with their system. My partner and I go there in person to sort this out, as this is day 3 now, my phone is fixed, they are however keeping it due to an issue they are having with their system. They offer the option of putting my old screen back on and giving me my phone back right then and there, however after waiting 3 days this isn't acceptable. We ask to speak to the manager, who again tells us they cannot release the device as they aren't able to put the claim through to Google, and are now having apparent issues communicating with them. This is not our problem, my phone is under warranty, it was confirmed by the technicians it was a hardware error, not user error that caused the problem, they have all the information they need to put the claim through, they are not releasing my phone to me until they are paid. The manager suggests leaving my ID with them as collateral in order to take my phone, which is completely unacceptable and unheard of, and I refuse. No one is helping us, I haven't even seen my phone at this point, we are just being told different stories every time we ask. We go back the next day on Monday, now day 4, after calling and being told the same story. At this point we are fed up, weary of the situation, and overall concerned by how it is being handled. We ask for the old screen to be put on so we can take it elsewhere. The old screen is put on and I am now having to take my phone to a different store, most definitely not another uBreakiFix after wasting 4 days trying to get my phone released back to me. Except for one employee which provided us with some help and ultimately got my phone back into my hands, it was a terrible experience. The manager of this location also manages other locations in the lower mainland, therefore I will not be going to any other company stores nor recommending them to anyone else. Save your time and take your devices somewhere else.
