Lots of different kinds of rooms available some are family rooms with a small kitchen.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
There is a large swimming pool with a hot tub and sauna which is an added bonus.Walking distance to Save On and restaurants and bars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got charged over 50 dollars for "towels missing" but the towels that were "missing" were not in the room to begin with. I got a double room and I noticed when I first checked in that there were only enough towels for 1 person which was fine I didn't even think about it till when I went to check out and the guy checking me out charged me. I tried explaining multiple times at how the towels that were "missing" were not in the room to begin with. I've stayed here before and spent hundreds of dollars in rooms at this place previously but I will never go back now after the way I was treated.
Very disappointing..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite place when staying in Edmonton. It's not the fantasy land hotel but it's got good water pressure. Smoking rooms. Motorcycle friendly parking and it's affordable. Will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was very outdated, it is in serious need of some freshening up, the room had no microwave, there is always a microwave! I went to this hotel to pick up a friend, personally I don't think I would ever stay here. I'm not sure what the cost was for a room here but I would think it would be very low.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very surprised. It was an older facility. Wasn’t expecting the level of comfort I experienced. What makes a place for me , is the hot water. Best shower in a long time. Really hot and lots of it. The bed was comfortable. Parking was easy and right in front of my room.
No shampoo or coffee, it is what it is. I never use hotel coffee and I carry my own shampoo.
I’d recommend the Algonquin

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the worst place I have ever even stepped in. The phone didn't work, or the shower. It was so dirty I wouldn't have put animals in these rooms. How they can charge 68$ a night is unbelievable I would sleep in a dumpster before I rented a room there again.
