r	ronalin kina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my first time ever leaving a review. It was literally the worst experience I’ve ever had. I was planning to stay for a whole week, the first night I went in I checked the sheets to see if they were clean and guess what? Hair all over the place and stains on the sheets, that was disgusting. I checked out the next day and they charged me for 2 nights. I went to a different place and paid a couple bucks extra and it was really worth it.

Hair everywhere! The person at the front desk was FaceTiming her friends on the job. This hotel needs better customer service. I will never come to this place ever again!

T	Tammi Chase on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at the Thriftlodge Edmonton. Don’t believe the photos! Total catfish. Rooms are outdated, smell of smoke even though they are no smoking rooms. They try to cover it with Febreeze. Sheets had holes, thin blankets with cigarette burns. Walls were 3 different colours, bathtub had no plug, tile grout falling out covered in mold. Furniture mismatched poorly painted. Booked this based on cost, photos and Wyndham associated. Not worth it. Wyndham should be ashamed to be associated with this. Staff were rude, unwelcoming and ignorant.

Beds were uncomfortable with bedbugs infestation. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Would have given negative stars instead of 1 star but there is no option for that

When we stay there, the toilet and the sink were leaking and I told them about the situation and they didn't do anything. This place is old and dilapidated. There are unsavoury people and they bring all their friends to stay in their rooms. A lot of smoking in the rooms and the smoke permeate the rooms. Do yourself a favour, don't stay there
g	gabriel barbeau on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Literally would give this place 0 stars if I could. It is -40 outside and this place is freezing cold. We wanted to save some money as we came down here for my boyfriend to take an expensive course for work.. we should have just paid the extra at this point. Our 8 month old has been freezing all night, we let them know two separate times to turn the heat up. They maybe turned it up a notch. After complaining multiple times we were brought a tiny space “heater” which was barley blowing air in the first place then the breaker trips. We had no lights on and even unplugged the microwave since they said not to turn the microwave on and use the heater at the same time. That lasted about an hour if that till the breaker tripped. It was late and didn’t bother to complain again, just tried to get some sleep as we had a long day. Just had to snuggle closely and make the best of it. In the morning my baby was sooo cold and he didn’t sleep hardly all night because of it, my boyfriend went to the front desk to ask to turn the heat up which they apparently did multiple times but were still all freezing, he told them to reset the breaker and practically had to chase him out to do it, the second heater they gave us lasted about 5 mins before the breaker tripped again. You can’t use any other plug ins because they’re all lose and it won’t stay plugged in. This place is an actual dump. Management sucks. I would never recommend anyone to stay here, and I certainly wouldn’t stay here again... even if it was for free.
