★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was falsely promised a Rona credit with the purchase of a thermo pump at Anjou store and after sale service was horrible. Deny it being promised and refused to honour their word. Blamed Rona for refusal and now both are refusing to honour what was verbally promised on sale.
Horrible service and little customer service.

If the system fails friday night (that was my case) you are in serious trouble.
It took three winters, one heat pump replacement, heat pump thermostat sensor replacement. ( That I paid for the service).
Run several weeks only on the fournaise.
Giant bills from HydroQuebec.
From original install in 2016 to the moment I right this post. It is the first time I'm experience a real confort with that system.
The 2019-2020Hydro bills are starting to be what was promessed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every year my Kelvinator doesn't cool. I call early Summer, they're always too busy until September, when it gets "fixed" - only to have to call them back the following season for repairs.
They're rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. I have overheard the backdround conversations saying I am a problem customer. My file has been subcontracted to a technician who refuses to communicate with me, and when I call for follow-up I am STILL treated like *I* am the problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Air Du Confort installed our HVAC 1 year ago, and I remain really pleased with their work. Our HVAC is not used as a primary winter heat source- it's primarily for additional heat during the fall but primarily it is the cooling system during the summer. The AduC sales people and installers were very good at explaining the pros and cons of the system and what to expect from it. We had a 10 yr old freon system that was a monster to remove and their installers were professional and courteous through the whole process, explaining what they would do each step of the way before doing it. They had to enlarge a hole in my attic to remove the unit, and were mindful to replace the gipse they had cut and replaster before leaving. They also laid down carpeting everywhere to keep my floors in good condition during their work.
They even went the extra mile to redo my house central air system's pipe arrangement, as the original installation had them everywhere in the attic, and the space was unusable! Really kind and considerate of Air Du Confort's installers to do this for me, my attic is now a usable storage space again.
The electrical work is well-secured, the exterior unit required a custom shelf to be welded together and installed on the house and everything was done to great quality.

The unit was defective out of the box. They did 6 service calld without resolving the issue.
The owner of the company said they would replace said unit if they could not repair it.
Avoid at all costs.

I signed a contract with this contractor through Reno Depot. they did not honor the contract details. lots of delays. they wanted to charge me extra for the bump. avoid at all costs. I cancelled the contract since summer is over and I still did not get the AC installation.
