Cons - The hotel is a traditional University residence. The bathroom is not in the hotel room. The rooms have no wifi, or a fan/AC unit. The rooms sizes are good for only 2 people. Overall the room is very bad. Pros - There is a lounge with a billiards/pool table and a Foosball table. Plenty of fun! The location is also very good. It is really close to the transit.

Bathrooms are filthy and toilet paper was not refilled for several days on my floor. Two stall toilets/ two showers but one shower didn’t drain and was practically unusable. You can hear everything going on outside your room from both inside the hotel but also the sound travels up from outside so it sounds like people on the ground floor are in your room with you. No A/C and fans cost as much to buy from Walmart as they are to rent from the hotel. Paid wifi for my room didn’t work half the time and was slow. Every floor feels like a basement

This is a hostel/hotel. You get your own room but the restroom is on the floor. You get your own key but still scary to go out. Old plugs are scary to be used. Price is too high for the location and the quality of the room. NO WiFi in your room only on the reception.

Pretty good for a hostel/university residence. You can definitely tell it is an older building but was pretty well-kept and clean. Front desk staff was awesome! For the price, I feel I could have spent a BIT more on a cheap hotel and still had a slightly nicer experience (not sharing bathroom/shower, possibly A/C)

It's cheap. Cleanliness is passable. No AC. You get a fan. The beds are OK. Experience can vary depending on who you share the floor with. If the cohabitants begin slamming their doors while going back and forth to the washroom, you'll be up when they get up. If price is the main driver and you're okay with a bit of a camping feel, it fits the bill.

Words cannot describe how absolutely awful this place is. The rooms are awful. The bathrooms are filthy. We were told two adults would be fine in a room, which ended up having one twin bed and one towel. Reception was incredibly rude when we said it was absolutely ridiculous to expect two adults to be in that room. The fact that this place is cheap isn’t even a positive. It’s not worth the price even at what they charge. Avoid it at all costs. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

To be clear, nothing about this place is like a studio or a hotel. It is a dormitory in every sense. Twin beds, desks, communal bathrooms, etc. The room cleanliness was good. My bed sheet had some old stains on it, but it was clearly still clean. The communal bathrooms were less clean: the toilets were not flushed, and wet paper towels were strewn about the floor and counter with abandon. But the biggest reason not to stay here is the noise. Coming back on Saturday night, there was a group of ~20 guys drinking in the landing, which could easily be heard in my room. Since it was after 10 PM, I called the hotel to send someone to quiet them down, but they could still be heard after that (an hour or so later, they quieted down of their own accord). If you have no other options and don't take yourself too seriously, come stay. But be aware of what you may be getting into.

We were totally mislead by the pictures posted online about this hotel. The only good things about this place was that there was plenty of hot water and it was close to a metro station and in a quiet clean area. As well the shared kitchen was bright and clean, but not convenient unless you had your own cutlery or plates. (Who does on a vacation?) The room was awful. Supposed to sleep 2 people which consisted of a single bed and pull out mattress underneath. Once it was pulled out you couldn't move in the room, you had to step over the bed to get out the door. The bed on the floor slid around with any movement and the regular bed was very uncomfortable. We had no towels for 4 days, we kept asking for them but kept getting excuses that the laundry service had quit. It took writing to the manager to get towels and to get soap in the shared bathroom and, our room cleaned (once in 9 days). The front staff were very sweet and friendly but didn't seem to solve the towel problem or be able to figure out the booking system when we asked 3 days in a row if we could upgrade to another room. The floor in our room was very dirty and the bathrooms were very dirty and smelly as well. This room almost ruined our trip, because it was hot (no air conditioning,) cramped, and totally uncomfortable, not a comfortable place to sit and relax anywhere. The stairway looked like something in a horror movie I would rather have paid more and had a comfortable cool place to stay.
