Unforgettable experience at this day spa! I got a 60 min massage in the salt cave with Anthony and it was a style of massage I had never experienced before. He listened to my body and used these incredible release techniques! Jenna did my facial and it was so relaxing; my face was glowing after! The spa uses Skin Ceuticals which I am obsessed with. I was also able to use my WaySpa gift card and they provided an RMT receipt. Prices are on the higher end but it is to be expected based on the location and the level of the facility. Gorgeous establishment, clean, friendly staff & an adorable shop through out. Will definitely be back!

3 stars for customer service. I must say, this was a pretty disappointing experience. This was my third time at Zenbar, second pedicure. My pedicure a couple years ago was great. Last week I went for a pedicure (used a gift card--thank goodness) customer service was good overall, but the pedicure I got was lackluster. They don't have many choices in polish colors (I've never been to a spa or nail salon that had so little color options) and the options they had were so "blah". Toe nails clipped unevenly, some shorter than others. I wore sandals all day long, went to bed, the next morning some toes had nicks or small smudges, that's because the polish was older and slightly goopy, so it takes much longer to dry. I know this as I've had that happen with my own polishes at home. On some toes, polish was missing on the sides of the nails, so not a complete application. So.. yea, overall disappointing. What would have been more upsetting would be if I paid out of pocket for this. It came to about $76.00 ..none of the service rendered was any fancier than your typical nail salon, so I could never justify the cost if it weren't for having a gift card.

Had an amazing experience at ZenBar. Went for a Oxygeneo Facial with McKenzie, and had the best facial ever. McKenzie was very professional and helpful with tips and recommendations. She gave explanations where needed and checked in repeatedly to ensure I was comfortable. The reception/lobby area has the most amazing gift ideas and self care items and the staff were friendly from start to finish. The lounge was really unique and it felt like I was swept away to a spa in a fancy resort down south. I’d highly recommend and will definitely buy gift cards here in the future.

Response- Hi, shocked how you didn’t find anyone by the name “Tanya”, I was literally there on October 20th for a 3pm appointment. Ask your staff how many times I reached out in the last 3 days asking them for a receipt. After I finished the massage, the receptionist said she would send it to my email in 5 minutes. I waited until next day and called in and they told me that since I booked through Groupon they cannot provide a RMT receipt which is understandable but they said they can still send me a receipt for the message. I called thrice and I still haven’t received it. While all the staff are respectable, this is not acceptable. Either say you cannot provide a receipt or just email as promised. It’s been 4 days now and I haven’t received it. Also, instead of being so defensive with reviews, maybe try putting the same effort into improving your service and training your staff better. Advertised as a luxury spa, not anywhere close to it. It’s a shame that there is no space in the room to leave your stuff in a “luxury” spa. Most of the equipment looked very old and rundown in general. Although this was the most expensive place I found on Groupon, I booked thinking the experience was going to be better than other places but I was completely wrong. Better to go with other places offering the same for a much better price. I booked a 60 min session plus scalp massage which they said was going to be an additional 10min. They finished both the things in 50mins. So I basically paid more and received less than what I paid for. The massage therapists were really nice but the massage experience itself was very average. Overall, bad experience. Won’t return to this over priced place. Thanks Update October 25- Zenbar associate reached out to me and sent me a copy of the receipt. Thank you.

We booked a couple's massage for 60 minutes today for our anniversary and were really excited to try out this place based on really good google reviews and a friends recommendation. The traffic was quite horrendous and we had arrived late. The reception said our massage would only be eligible now for 30 minutes so we got ready quickly. The massage therapists only did 20 minutes and finished up quickly. We were booked for 2pm-3:15pm but were done by 3pm sharp. Given we drove so far from Ajax for this, we really thought they would accommodate us somehow and try to maximize the massage timing. We realize being late is completely on us but the studio could have at least extended the massage until 3:15pm as per the email confirmation. Moreover, we had to pay in full for a very expensive 60 minute massage for which we only benefitted 20 minutes. The reception desk was completely rude and refused to do anything about it. She went to look for her manager who was too preoccupied to come and speak to us about not having to pay for the full 60 minutes massage. It was a horrible experience and ruined our anniversary. It's safe to say that we will never be going back to this place ever again. I am sad that we wasted so much of our time travelling back and forth on our day off to try this place out only to be completely disappointed and have our day be completely ruined.

Went a couple of months ago to celebrate my partner’s birthday. We got the 60-minute couple’s package with the scalp massage. He enjoyed his time but unfortunately I could not say the same. When we were brought in, they had us fill out some forms asking basic questions about health and occupation. I had wrote that I’m a hairstylist and I feel constant back and shoulder pain. They had briefly introduced themselves before taking our forms and walking us into our room. When we were ready, they came into the room and asked us both if we were comfortable and began the service. My partner’s massage therapist had obviously read the paper and brought up that he will try some things to help alleviate his neck pain in which my partner agreed to. My massage therapist did not say anything to me for the entire service except when she asked me to turn over. Unlike other places I’ve gone to, she did not ask whether or not her pressure was good, or if there was any part of my body that I wanted more focus on; I felt like she was doing the bare minimum. At one point as she was “massaging” my forearm, I almost squealed because it tickled… because there was no pressure and she was just gliding down my forearm as soft as she could. Others may say that I should have spoken up; but as someone who also provides a service to others, it’s their job to ask questions and try to provide a service that is helpful. Didn’t want to make it a big deal when we were there so I didn’t say anything at the end. The only pro I could think of was that I enjoyed the hot stone part of it. Hope this helps.

Always a great experience! From the moment you walk through the doors at Zenbar you are met with great energy and I know I am going to leave happy and relaxed! From the booking staff to the therapists on staff all around incredible experience. I have had the pleasure of many a treatment with Krista and Kayla (both RMTs) and find myself adding on the LPG treatment and pod sessions!! A total must. If you have a chance to pop in for a Detox and Juice Cleanse I would highly recommend you do! It really is such a treat :) Zenbar does not disappoint!! 10/10! See you all soon!

A relaxing, inspiring and healing experience. I got a 90 min massage in the salt cave with Luis and it was a style of massage that blended assisted stretching, physio and raising your vibrations… I had never experienced anything like it before! It is a little pricey but it feels like it is on the higher end based on the location and the relaxing facility. Excellent establishment, pretty, friendly staff & an lots of healing take-home options in the shop. Cannot wait to return to this beautiful healing place.
