I was searching for a specific shampoo amd conditioner that deposits color into the hair in order to maintain the vibrancy of the color. I had already gone to another beauty supply store closer to my home and they ticked me off because of the way the sales girl spoke to me and seriously did not know what i was asking. I literally said forget it and walked out. When I got to Beauty Supply Outlet, the sales rep was immediately knowledgeable, gracious and gave me a promotional coupon for hair cut/color. She was engaging and strong. Really gives a customer confidence in the sale! Ashley, I believe her name was- awesome!!

Attention consumers in the area of Oakville thinking of shopping at this location please be advice of this particular store policies as well the interaction between customers and staff is not friendly and professional. If management reads this kind of reviews they should take this into account this one for training purposes and education of their staff. My mother recently made a purchase at this location and after arriving at home she realize the colour was not the one she was looking for and we decided to pay to visit to the store to exchange the product (unopened, unused) as indicated on the receipt their exchange policy states *no cash or credit and debit refunds all sales are final**, leaving the understanding that a product can be exchanged, as well below their Christmas exchange policy was active until January 10th 2021 Right away the associate at the front desk was very negative and refusing to echange the product and kept referring to their restore policies which I showed her on the received that this one it's not clear neither indicated that cannot be exchanged is only for refunds, which we were not looking to do, only exchange the product for the correct colour. The associate got very upset at my request and even told me to go online which to me that was just an indication to leave the store and not offered to assist. I then asked the store associate if I could read their store policy when it comes to exchange and refunds, this one indicated it's on the receipt which again I show her a copy of the front and back where aside from the notes you see on the attached image it was blank. She went as far as telling me that if she were to exchange that the product it need to be discarded because of covid reasons, at this point I kept insisting that on the receipt the policy says no refunds all sales final which I was not what we were looking to do and only to perform an exchange on the product. In addition, I asked the associate to speak to her manager and she identified herself as the manager which to me didn't behave as a manager, she then grabbed the phone and make a phone call I'm assuming that would have been the actual store manager or the owner and kept insisting that they were not going to answer and I she was not going to exchange the product, insisting that it must have been changed recently and therefore that's why it's not in the receipt, she kept pointing out to all the signs everywhere in the store saying all sales final. Once again my intention was to exchange the product not to receive a refund, at this point her interaction with me the customer was very hostile and in my opinion it was unprofessional so to deescalate the situation I decided to leave the premises and told them I was going to share my experience with other consumers. Most of my reviews for businesses are always positive because I would like to share those more often than negative but I felt the need to actually tell my story so that you the consumer do not fall into the same trap that my mother did. I only have one recommendation for you: it's buyer beware, and for management I hope that you take into account the way you are describing your policies both in print and verbally to your customers, definitely the associate requires additional customer service training, and if you care you will do the right thing for your customers going forward.

I have had a really bad experience at this location. The salesperson on duty last week recommended a colour that was much too dark, she actually argued with me for 20 minutes, i caved in and bought what she recommended and then she also recommended a curling cream. I went back today at 1;30pm same sales person on duty i asked her if i could exchange the product she recommended for something else and she pointed to a sign that says all sales final. Now I understand that we are going through a pandemic but now you have a bad bad review and I will never go back to that location! I hope it was worth the $20..... PS I also have jet black hair that going to cost me a fortune to correct professionally!
