Although food does not arrive right away, its okay because I know it's being prepared as fresh as possible. Love their prawn rolls and potato appetizer. Fresh oysters were also a treat! I left my wallet there one time and they kept it for me the next day.

It's a small and quaint family-run place that is quite clean and well-kept. The ambiance was a bit weird since there was no music and I was the only person dining (admittedly it was after the lunch rush). I always opt for the Bento box at a new Japanese restaurant to see if the preparation meets my taste. The miso soup was tasty and salty (it's hard to mess up miso though). The Cali roll was average for a sit-down restaurant, but came with loads of wasabi and ginger, which other places seem to skimp out on. Then came the Bento box. I ordered chicken teriyaki with sushi (the roll) and tempura. My eyes were immediately drawn to the tempura pieces: three vegetable with a milky off-white coloured batter and two shrimp with deep orange panko breading. The shrimp were crispy and hot, although the batter layer was almost too dense to bite through easily. The tempura veggies were unimpressive. They tasted doughy as if the cooking oil was not hot enough. The chicken teriyaki had lots of chicken pieces, but the sauce was not very flavourful and runny. The salad had a strange dressing that tasted as if they mixed together ranch and Catalina. I was desperate to.love this place, but it's definitely not on my list of restaurants I would return to.

Even showing up early for lunch, the front house staff were super accommodating, and very pleasant. We really appreciated the extra attention from our gracious server, who recommended her favorites and checked on us multiple times. The sushi chef made a last-minute meal extremely memorable and delicious with really fresh ingredients, served very quickly. The meal was perfect. We will definitely return to Yume!

The rice is very soggy, the fish stinks(had a bad stomach ache) and it tastes disgusting. This restaurant needs a serious quality check on what food they serve the customers. I threw all the food in garbage. Please do not order food from here.
