This review is for the property management and for the lady who also lives in this building. I am also a tenant that resides at 1284, I can tell you that your review is invalid. The problems that this building has is mostly because of certain tenants like yourself. Tenants at this building except the new ones knows first hand who glen, Anne and John is. Most of the problems is caused because tenants like those i mentioned believe they should be treated with more vaule than other tenants like myself. A tenant association was created by glen over some childish drama with his neighbors and decided to make this all against the superintendent because they didn't evict the neighbor. Everyone knows the story, the association didn't go anywhere and Carlos decided to quite because of the emotional stress and probably other mental health problems all because of Glen and John. I witness the way these tenants spoke to Jenny with such nasty and disrespectful words and just completely wrong way to talk to a young lady with her young child beside her, it leaves me to think about how Anne is being treated at home. These tenants complain about marijuana yet their son at the other end of the hallway smokes up like Cheech and Chong and blame it on the dude they always complain about and not to mention the major hippie john, this guy has a grow up operation in his balcony that I can see from shoppers drug Mart. While tenants like those believe Carlos and Jenny did a bad job, it is because of them alot of tenants had upgrades done to their apartment including ANNE AND GLENS new kitchen. If renovations was being denied by then management Donna, Carlos would continue to upgrade units with supplies he had in stock while hiding it behind management. It is sad to see management not to allow superintendents to do their jobs properly. So as per my review don't move into this building as long as these tenants mentioned reside here because you'll probably become one of their targets. The building is ran by rich real estate brokers who don't give two s*** about you and hire new superintendents that don't know what to do during emergencies like fires. The owner Ted Slightham hires a new lady manager that doesn't seem to know how a building is ran and completely relies on her husband who isn't even employed by the building. This building needs a new owner a new management and new tenants.

There are issues with this building's cleanliness outside and inside. The laundry facility is out dated and often several machines are not available, clothes comes out dirtier after washing. There have been at least four bed bug infestations over the past three years each time the tenants are accused of bringing them in even though the units that have been infected are around each other. Often tenants are treated with disrespect. Replacement appliances are badly done refurbished appliance. Also bad tenant behaviour of partying is rewarded where good tenants are treated poorly.
