★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Chick'n Joy location has been one of my Family's favorite fast food restaurants for over a year now. Upon visiting the York Mills location we are always greeted with warm smiles from the owners. We usually order the 10 piece mixed fried chicken deal and have always enjoyed the generous pieces of chicken fried perfectly to a crisp. We will definitely continue to be big fans of this small store that always delivers great service and great tasting chicken!

I went to their Morningside joint regularly when i lived in Scarborough.
I live in North York now so i was quite happy to find out that they have a joint here as well.
It is located on York Mills Road and TTC bus no 95 has a stop 2 mins from the store.There are many shops in the same plaza.
I bought Chicken,Coleslaw,Fries and Gravy and everything tasted really good.I must say that their stuff is better than Popeye and much better than KFC.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monday and Tuesday special is 2 pieces of chicken with fries for $3.75 plus taxes.
The order taker was very efficient and service was very fast; under 2 minutes and I had my food walking out the door.
I sat on the outdoor patio of 3 octagon picnic tables with umbrellas. There are 6 bicycle poles to lock up your ride if you peddled your way here.
Now, first thing I noticed was that the 2 chicken pieces were a healthy size along with a lots of fries. Second, fries had no salt added. Is it only me but fries salted immediately after they exit the fryer taste different that ones that sit and then salt is added just before consuming.
The chicken was good and moist...not great. The fries somewhat soggy (probably waiting under the warming lamps for people that thought 2 minutes out the door was a good sign). No in this case!
So, overall I would say that the store special is good value and it hits the spot for a light dinner.
I’ll return but I can’t see my rating ever hitting a four star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! I never knew it was possible to butcher food so badly until I walked into this place. The crew members were polite and friendly but the food was awful. The fries were raw in the middle and were barely edible. My friend got the grilled chicken sandwich which was so burned and overcooked, it was like biting on a rubber tire. I had the breaded chicken which wasn't bad. Gravy was tasty. Didn't like the fact that they don't have drinks in tap (you have to buy cans). I don't see myself ever returning to this house of horror. This place is where good food comes to die ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love chicken joints but there's something missing with the whole experience. Chicken was pretty basic but the gravy made it better. Their biscuit is was awesome, and the fries were ok. Both biscuit and chicken were on the salty side.
