If a customer comes in, and comes straight to the pickup counter, the *most basic* thing to do is to greet them and to ask if they are picking up an order instead of ignoring them. Today, I came to the pickup counter for a Skip order, where I saw my drinks already ready and sitting on the counter. I had been staring at them/the employees for at least 7+ minutes while being ignored. At the same time, 3-4 employees took their time making other drinks behind the counter - without acknowledging me or anyone else. Instead of somebody asking me for my order number etc, I finally decided to say "HI, I've been standing here for a while waiting for a pickup order" to an employee who was finally facing my direction. During this whole time, they all avoided eye contact and/or did not react to any customers. When I got home, I noticed that none of the drinks came with extra toppings I ordered (coconut jelly and strawberry pearls). One drink had zero toppings at all, even though I made sure to pay extra to ensure this. This was a waste of almost $8 per drink and 15minx2 drive. The same thing happened on a visit earlier last month. I had ordered three drinks - all with pearls and coconut jelly. The staff seemed very confused and didn't seem to know what I was saying -- the two employees that day even clarified with me before and after I placed the order ("so just to make sure, you want coconut jelly on ___" multiple times). How come I still did not receive these toppings after so many clarifications from their end? On today's visit, I even made sure to select coconut jelly, which I now see that you have listed as a topping option on SkipTheDishes. Again, I still did not receive this or the strawberry pearls after paying extra. Will we ever know if you have coconut jelly, or not? I was once a supporter of this place when it first opened - I shared it with my friends, and even came here on my birthday. Tapioca pearls are the make-or-break when it comes to bubble tea, and the softness/chewiness of XFT's in-house-made pearls had my approval. However, my past few visits have been terrible. Please make some simple operational changes if keeping customers is your goal, starting with basic customer service.

So glad there's a location in the south closer to home! Just last week alone after tasting XingfuTang's BBT in the west side we have been here twice already. The brown sugar boba is just as good, but we learned something! Freshly made brown sugar pearls (pearls they just made after a batch has been finished up in the awesome brown sugar cauldron) is not as good as the pearls that's been soaking in the syrup for hours. So, if you pass by and you see that cauldron getting low -- order some brown sugar boba because you're in for a treat. Definitely one of the best, if not the best brown sugar milk boba in the city. Surprisingly as well, they let you have less ice! Although my wife and I regretted getting less ice as our drink was not as cold as usual -- another lesson learned!

I have been here 4 times this week. Quite happy. My wife was not impressed with her red beans mushed in her matcha but I found the tapioca was the right consistency each time, and sweet. I tried the strawberry tea with Strawberry pearls which was excellent. Had the kiwi soda which was ok if it was a hot day, but considering the weather, it is better for a hut summer day. The signature brown sugar pearl milk tea I have had twice, both times delicious. Waited about 10 minutes each time, very busy so I didn't mind too much. I have tried at least a dozen other places in Edmonton but this is the best or one of the best for sure.

Had ordered this matcha milk tea but they accidentally gave me a strawberry one instead, my mistake for wording what I said the way I did… I told them I didn’t want a new one because I didn’t want them to waste the one they made me originally, I just said to add matcha powder in it.. they said it wouldn’t taste good and they would make me another no problem. I felt bad about it as I didn’t want to be the issue, but they reassured me and said it was their fault too. Super understanding and accommodating. Great taste, size and staff. Thanks :)

singature bubble tea was amazing, best bubble tea I have had. The kiwi yogurt one was not as great, watery and tasteless... likely won't try again. I want to try my fortune next time. ?

Ordered on Ubereats. Drinks came with no straws and no add-on strawberry pearls. Very frustrating. I also ordered in store once before. Staffs were very slow and disorganized. I waited for 30min to get my drink and the person ordering after me got the drink even faster which I didn’t understand. Drinks are fine but doesn’t worth the waiting time.

Best brown sugar bubble tea in town ever! Not too sweet and you can actually taste the real tea favour not just the sweet syrup like another bubble tea place. The portion of the ice is just perfect! I used to buy the brown sugar bubble tea from another bubble tea shop.. but they always put way too much of ice in the drink and even when I requested less ice, they said they can't do it. Up until now, I still don't get it why they can't make it with less ice. Will be my go to bubble tea place from now on!

The first time we had it, it was pretty good (we had the signature brown sugar regular size)! The second time, I tried a strawberry flavor which unfortunately didn’t taste like anything but milk. My boyfriend got a large signature brown sugar which also didn’t like anything but milk :( I think it really depends who makes the drink, as my friends have also had mixed reviews with different times of trying this place out
