A really great and pleasant experience. I was seen within 10 minutes of checking in. Pam, the Nurse Practioner was really knowledgable and compassionate. Despite some issues with my initial check-in (spelling my name correctly and having to change all my check-in info etc) I would definitely recommend this clinic. All of the staff are doing amazing and important work. Thank you for all you do. We see you and need you.

This clinic is great and is the only place I could get help from beginning to end after being turned down at other places. Here, I was helped immediately the first appointment. My doctor (I wish I remembered her name) was so kind and careful to explain everything to me and she was very professional and gentle to make everything a smooth process. My follow appointment was with Lindsay (I believe is her name) and she was also very kind for my follow-up appointment and thorough to make sure I was taken care off. In all of this, I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket, I really wish I found this place years ago..

Today was my first time at the Women’s College Hospital Bay Centre for Birth Control. I wasn’t able to get an appointment by email, but received a prompt reply to call during business hours. Upon calling directly I was put on hold but when the receptionist did speak to me she was polite and helped me set up an appointment. There was a 3 week wait to be seen, which wasn’t my preference, but they have a lot of patients it seems. The day of my appointment, I waited for a half an hour longer than my appointment time. However it was worth it, because the doctor I had (Dr. Greenwald) was very friendly, a good listener, and very patient in going through my options in selecting an IUD. She made sure that I was completely comfortable and confident about my decision. When she installed the IUD, she was as gentle as possible and took great hygiene measures. She answered all my aftercare questions and sent me on my way feeling very cared for. When I booked my follow up the receptionist was pleasant and efficient. I agree that waiting past the appointed time sucks, but I understand why now, because the service I got was thorough and unhurried. Which in my opinion is how it should be when dealing with medical matters. If you are in an urgent hurry this may not be your best option. Otherwise, I recommend bringing something to read or headphones to pass time on your phone. They were all nice to me and I believe offering their sincere efforts to give the best care to each person.

I would give more stars if I could based on my experience with Dr. Eva Starkman. What an absolute gem of a doctor. She made me feel comfortable, heard, and respected, and she has an incredibly kind and emotionally-intuitive demeanour. She’s thorough while still being careful to take you through what she’s doing and informing you every step of the way. I feel a lot more at ease now that I know the high quality and caliber of residents that they have working here, and I’m happy to be a patient here - would 100% recommend the Clinic and Dr Starkman for your care.

I read the reviews about rude reception - I can't relate as the ones I've dealt with have been just fine. Entire team was very professional and compassionate

Has the worst insensitive experience here and left my appointment due to the inappropriate comment made to me by a staff member! Hospitals are suppose to be a safe place where u can go to have a judgement free zone to get the medical help u need and this place was far from judgement free! I left in tears and won’t EVER return

Have been here a few times and appointments have typically gone well, but they really need some better receptionists. They're so unfriendly and lack compassion, especially when you consider what patients come here for. They don't make you feel welcome, instead they ask "What's it for?" when you have an appointment booked. I get that they can get busy, but there's no reason to treat patients coldly. And if they close at 4 PM and not 5 PM, they should include this info on Google – not just rudely stare at you as if they don't have a clue why you're here, and then rush to leave.

Everyone I met at the hospital is warm and compassionate. I called in the morning and wasn't able to get through, but when I called around noon I got connected to a receptionist in less than 5 minutes. The care and services I received here were exceptional.
