Willow Green Estates - Calgary

Apparently, this complex is on great location, most of the time it was clean. There were some noise from outside specifically summer at Friday and Saturday night because the complex is near to the pub. I had a pretty decent living here. Maybe what had happened ( the maintenance issue ) is a heads up for the management to do a criminal check especially you are entrusting all keys of the unit.

My partner and I lived here for a year and it was a terrible experience. We had mice the entire duration of our lease and accountability is not a value that is held by the management company. Any and all attempts to try and get this worked out were met with hostility and accusations. I cannot stand lack of ownership and am disgusted at how we were treated. They simply ignored email requests to the point we got a health inspector to try and rectify the situation. Management is terrible... my advice is to stay far away from this place unless a miracle happens and Marri Properties sells.

Living in this complex has been great! Affordable very clean and updated unit. Nice quiet location with all the stuff you would like around you - Transit, Wal Mart, South Centre Mall good restaurants are all close by. Staff is nice and very professional. Property is well maintained.

Having lived in this complex for a few years I can honestly say the staff and management are wonderful! In my opinion – I think that most of the negative reviews are from tenants with an ax to grind – maybe they are not happy in their life or going through a bad spell and just want to vent. Maybe they are not paying their rent on time and are getting late fees applied they do not like. Or maybe they signed their contract stating they would have any pets, but tried to sneak them in after and are now being charged for that? These are all things I have witnessed having worked in property management and this is what people do when they don’t get their way. They lash out and post on social media to try to hurt others. I can personally say that Willow Green Estates staff are very pleasant and go above and beyond to help settle every issue as quickly and with as little stress as possible. Mice? Yes you are going to have mice, heck I have mice in my home I live in now! They are a part of life especially in the fall when they are looking for a warm place to hibernate. Late fees when you pay your rent late? Try that with the bank on your mortgage and see what they do?! And Willow Green Estates rental costs are competitive with the area and size of suites compared with other properties in that neighborhood. Just call around and you will see this for yourself! Most of the units have been renovated within the past 5 years and are quite stunning! Willow Green Estates is very good place to live and I enjoyed it very much! The property is beautiful, my neighbors were very nice and I did not have any problems with the staff EVER. If I were looking, I would definitely rent there again! ?

My boyfriend and I lived here for 2 years or so and it was great! The management was great especially Doris, she was great to deal with! Maintenance was always very quick to fix any problem we had! Overall a great place to rent! ?

I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment building. My unit was upgraded, and the staff were helpful and attentive.

I lived at Willow Green Estates for two and a half years, and would absolutely move back. The suite layout was outstanding, the management was fantastic, and the location was perfect for our family. It was hard to leave such a great home, but it was time for us to upsize. Our two-bedroom unit had a ton of storage space, with a huge kitchen pantry, two coat closets, and a walk-in closet in the master bedroom that could have held two full wardrobes easily as well as a lot of shelving between and below the hanger rods. My favourite feature of the suite was the two entrances. Our unit had a doorway toward the inner courtyard and one toward the parking lane. This layout allowed for windows on both sides of the unit with a big balcony sliding door, and we got generous breezes in the summer. The courtyard itself was beautifully kept with huge, old trees for shade and a big grassy lawn. My kids and I made the most of it with a lot of picnics and afternoons building snowmen. The complex was very family-friendly, and the location was fantastic with a Dairy Queen, Circle K, and Italian Market right across the street. It was also super convenient to zip onto Macleod Trail to the west or Deerfoot to the East. We could walk to three nearby school playgrounds, and the Fish Creek library and Trico Center were less than a 5 minute drive. The management of the complex was the best I've seen in many years of renting. Common areas were always clean and in good repair, walkways were always clear, and help was just a call or text away when issues came up. The design of the complex also reduced our contact with other residents, which was important during the peak waves of COVID. Each building had its own double entrance and only contained 6 units. There was rarely any trouble getting the laundry machines when we needed them, although the payment card system was a bit complicated. I'd recommend Willow Green Estates to a friend any day.

I lived at Willow Green Estates in a bachelor suite for about 6 and half years. Management is very helpful and understanding. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The location is near Superstore, Canadian Tire, Walmart, Tim Hortons, Italian market, A plus and Circle K convenience stores and many many other amenities. My suite had a modern upgrade and I loved that stand up shower. My building was adult only, was very quite and never had a noise complaint. I highly recommend Willow Green Estates.
