Literally just moved in today. Was told by Edgar, the lead maintenance, that I can't have my blinds removed as it is a standard in the building. The blinds in my unit are old, broken and a yellowish stained colour. Not very pleasing to the eye. I have never encountered a place where this could not be done. Edgar stressed that putting curtains would be different to the "standard" but The Pinnacle, Morguard, advertises their units with curtains and it looks beautiful. Which caught my attention but I guess what they advertised isn't what you get. Edgar was very aggressive with his approach and it's left a bad taste in my mouth. I have had amazing experience with the management team and the front office staff but I think Edgar needs some guidance on customer service. My encounter with him will not be forgotten. In addition, my closet was worked on but looked like it was half done. Why pay someone if they are only going to do half the work. The inside of my closet looks worse than before.

Completed my move in recently. There have been some small issues that were taken care of within two days. Management is great. Jacquie and Dia are a pleasure. The view is awesome. It's a little early for a review, but I believe this building deserves it.

So glad I moved to The Pinnacle in SW Calgary. I have a beautiful apartment with a breathtaking view. The location is unbeatable, everything I need is walking distance. I’ve lived in other apartment buildings, but they do not compare to the The Pinnacle. The Pinnacle staff have friendly attitudes and are always willing to help. From the maintenance manager, to the cleaners, and the office staff and especially Debra Smith, the Regional Manager who goes out of her way to make sure that everything is just right.

Hi, I am posting this review about the Pinnacle in Calgary, after I came across some really negative posts regarding the Pinnacle. - I moved into the Pinnacle in 2016 and the apartment I viewed is the one I'm still living in today. Both times I have re-signed my lease when its up for renewal the office staff have upgraded my suite some way. The office staff, Maintenance staff are always very friendly and willing to assist you in whatever way they can. The proximity to the C-Train, Grocery Stores, Restaurants and other stores is very handy for those who do not drive. The overall atmosphere of the residents is friendly and kind

I have been at the pinnacle for two months now and love it. All shopping and amenities are within walking distance. All the staff from office to maintenance are really friendly and are always asking how your day goes. My husband and I have no issues at all and are happy to be in a friendly, inviting building. The office staff including Debra will go out of their way to help you in any way they can if needed. Apartment is spacious, clean, and extremely quiet. The building includes heat and utilities in your rent. Suites have beautiful renovations and all have a washer and dryer in suite. Love that it is also pet friendly since we have a dog. I would recommend it to others looking for a new place to call home.

The Pinnacle is a fantastic place to live, and it keeps getting better with the new management. The suites are spacious and the walls are solid, rarely ever hear the neighbors...they don't build them like this anymore. The building is getting some serious attention with upgrades to make tenant's lives better and it shows. The staff are simply amazing and will bend over backwards to help you out. And you can't beat underground parking in the Calgary winters. The only reason I am moving out is an international relocation, or else I would enjoy many more years. The Pinnacle is definitely worth a look.

I thankfully just got out of this building. I rode out my 1 year lease and that was one year too long. More often than not only one of the three elevators was working. When two of the three were one was reserved for people moving in/out meaning you often had to wait for 10 minutes if you wanted to take it instead of the stairs. On the one occasion all three were working i got stuck in an elevator causing me to miss a work shift. When i finally got in contact with the building they hesitantly apologized but did nothing as far as reassurance that it would be fixed. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night every other week during the winter due to residents smoking in the stairwells. During the winter you cannot turn your heat down due to the concern that the old plumbing will freeze and in the summer nothing can cool down the suits.

I have been living at the Pinnacle since April 2010 and just moved out because I bought my own house away from the city so I know this building well! The current management team is, in my opinion, the best! Luiba and her team are tenant-focused and do everything possible to accommodate us. It is a non-smoking building but some smokers think no-one can smell when they smoke in the building - they're mistaken and they will be reported by non-smokers who DO adhere to their lease agreements. So rather than writing a bad review because you're evicted for smoking, why not rent somewhere where smoking is acceptable? It is a pet friendly building which is especially great for single people who have fur babies for loving company. I say single people because with the security in the building (yes the cameras work) I always felt very safe in the building. The building itself features upgrades and is aesthetically pleasing to live in. It won't matter where you live, there will always be something to address - even brand new buildings. But I was seldom bothered or inconvenienced by maintenance requirements. Speaking of maintenance, the maintenance team (repairs and cleaning) are very pleasant and competent! Another great feature of this building is that each unit has it's own washer and dryer - no coin operated appliances!! BONUS!! I see there were complaints about the elevators but that isn't the management's fault - bad reviews need to be directed to the elevator maintenance company where they belong! But for the most part, the elevators are usually working just fine. My one criticism is the smoking area out front. It is attracting the derelicts who are looking for cigarette butts. A non-smoking building shouldn't need a smoking area. Those chairs out front would be better used by lease-adhering tenants (non-smokers) to meet or visit with their neighbors in the sun. Just my opinion ;) After 12 years of living here, it's been a sad week of moving out as I will miss the staff and my neighbors - I truly loved my years of living here. Best wishes to everyone and thank you from my heart :)
