I have been with this company for many years, in the last few years outages have been getting more and more and more. To the point where now, it seems as if my site goes down at least once month. In the process of moving everything now. Just can't afford to have so much time off line.

I've been using WiBand for Internet and email at my business for many years and they have been great. Seems to always work fast and they are always quick to help when I've called them.

Couldn't agree more with the previous post. You will also have to sign up for a multi year contract ... so you're married to these jokers longer than you will like. Extremely frustrating, especially if you have VOIP!!! You'll be dead in the water!

Have had countless awful experiences with this company. Our internet shuts down a minimum of once per month and they always tell us that there is "no estimated time as to when it will be fixed." It usually takes hours. DO NOT sign up with wiband or commit to them. You will regret it.

We have used this company for years, but back in the fall we cancelled our contract with them. Still waiting to receive my deposit back from them. I have had to email numerous times to follow up on my refund. I was told the cheque was issued on Dec 13/19 and its now Jan 10/20 and still have not received my deposit back.

Slow internet speed. Lackadaisical attitude and response time to concerns. Can't move to another provider fast enough. We were forced to use them in 2016 due to no other internet provider in the area at the time. They had the monopoly and charged an astronomical rate of $220/month for a "guaranteed" speed of at least 6 mbs. This was atrocious then and is atrocious now given the provision of Shaw and Telus in our area (the last area to have underground internet cabling in Edmonton), Despite their outrageously monthly fee, service has been chronically disappointing, frequent outages and very, very delayed response to requests for tech support. Today, the upload speed was less than 1.6 mbs all day. Totally unacceptable for internet speed for this price! Despite their failure to provide 6 mbs service, they refuse to allow us to cancel our contract without penalty. As such, we are prepared to engage in legal action while switching to another internet provider immediately. You would think a company such as WiBand would be concerned about providing efficient, high quality internet to medical offices working hard to provide virtual care to patients during a Pandemic. But no, instead, our concerns have fallen on deaf ears and our patients are suffering as a result. I am beyond disappointed in their customer service. Steer clear of this company. Save yourself the hassle and sign on with Shaw or Telus instead.

This company has been our internet provider for 4 years. We were forced to use them in 2016 when we discovered there was limited internet service in our area. They understood their monopoly and charged a predatory rate of $220/month for 6 mbs. This was atrocious then and is atrocious now given the provision of Shaw and Telus in our area (the last area to have underground internet cabling in Edmonton) and they were not open to renegotiation at any point and time. Despite their astronomically monthly fee, they have been chronically disappointing, frequent outages and very, very delayed response to requests for tech support. Also we often do not even get our measly 6mbs. Today, for instance, our upload speed all morning is 1.59 mbs - this is well below our contacted 6 mbs (which is already abysmal for the rate fo $220.00 per month). Given their failure to honour their contract, we asked for cancel the last 9 months of our contract and they refuse to do so without penalty. Save yourself the hassle and sign with Shaw and/or Telus. As a physician during a pandemic, you would think a company such as WiBand would be concerned about our ability to provide care by virtual means to our patients. Instead, it has fallen on deaf ears and our patients are suffering as a result. I continue to be disappointed in their customer service and product. Inferior given what is now available on the market. Steer clear of this company.
