Great experience. They made a very overwhelming project seem very easy. We renovated an entire house and they were easy to work with, priced fairly, and the installers were awesome. Dan, Darko, Neno ...you barely even knew they were there - fast and efficient with great work. Highly recommend them. They did our LVP for the entire top level of the house, tile in bathrooms x 3 and tile in the kitchen. All great!

While searching for an investment property, I came across a newly renovated unit that just had most of the flooring replaced. The floors were definitely a wow factor and was one of the main reasons I bought the apartment. Unfortunately, the flooring was not redone in the bedrooms. The seller was kind enough to share the name of the contractor - Absolute Hardwood - that did the work. Blair was the contact person I got in touch with and he was incredibly easy to deal with. He was prompt, professional yet friendly and flexible in providing options. We were able to come to an agreement and the work was done quickly, efficiently and to a high quality. Blair kept me up to date with the process and even adjusted the final invoice to reflect only the work that had to be done. My tenant can now enjoy a beautiful new apartment wth amazing new floors. Our renovation with Absolute Hardwood Flooring was a rewarding and satisfying experience. Everything was done on time and with the utmost professional craftsmanship. We are very impressed with the tradespeople. The reno involved several different trades all working in synch, and it came off without a hitch. We are very happy with our results. 1. Was really impressed with the visit by Blair to go over our project. He obviously has a lot of expertise with flooring, answered all our questions and provided some great recommendations. No pressure to upgrade from our intentions and was very personable. The estimate was timely and reviewed with confidence in the agreed product value. We’ve just signed the contract and paid the deposit for the work that will commence in five weeks. We are eagerly looking forward to the finished product. 2. The installation of the new red oak went great as the crew, Darko & his Dad were very professional in every way - very skilled, polite and just did a tremendous job & done on time. The feathering of the new & old oak went well and a short piece was removed and replaced in the middle of the old flooring. 3. We went camping during the sanding, staining & top coat stages & we were very impressed with what we saw when we got home! The color was perfect, the matte finish was exactly as we wanted. Also, the very obvious lines between the old prefinished oak boards were basically gone as they were filled during one of the processes. This was a real bonus as it makes the 2 1/4" wide boards look wider as you hardly notice the narrow boards! Overall, we are very pleased with the final product & highly recommend Blair & his crew of very skilled tradesmen for hardwood floor projects.

We are super happy with our new carpet! Dealing with Blair was awesome as he really helped us figure out what we wanted in our rooms based off our vision for the master bedroom and our kids rooms. The installers that came in were incredible! Super polite and friendly and I was blown away with how efficient and quick they installed the carpet in our 3 rooms. And apparently there is a seam in two of our rooms because of the size - would never have know as the work was literally "seamless"! Overall we are incredibly happy with our decision to partner up with Absolute Hardwood Flooring Co to replace our carpets and I have no hesitation in recommending them (and more specifically, Blair) for your flooring needs.

My experience with Absolute Hardwood dates back to 2009 when it was time to replace my tired and worn out builder grade carpet. After seeing the flooring a co-worker had in her home, there was a particular look that I was after. I met Blair at the Home Reno Show where he had a sample of cork flooring that was perfect. It was one of the first major renovation projects that I did in my house and Blair made the process smooth and comfortable, explaining everything every step of the way. Cody installed the cork and hardwood floors and to this day they look absolutely amazing. He was fast, efficient and very skilled at installing the flooring which included my stairs. Earlier this year I reached out to Blair to consult with him how to transition my hardwood and cork flooring to new flooring for my bathroom renovation. Blair was more than willing to work with my contractor and provided us with a couple options on how to make the best transitions. I ended up not needing to look any further for flooring as yet again Blair was able to deliver exactly what I was looking for! Blair and I just wrapped up another flooring project in my house two weeks ago. As always it was a pleasure to work with Blair. The process was smooth yet again and he was very receptive to my schedule. As a shift worker it is no easy feat sometimes to schedule things and I always appreciate a company that does exactly that. Darko and his dad are an awesome team and did an amazing job installing the vinyl plank flooring in my basement. They cleaned up at the end of each day and very respectful of my home as they worked. They clearly love what they do and it shows in the quality of the installation.
