★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our three Across the Lake Swim events used radios from Wi-Com for the first time this year after having problems in previous years with other suppliers. Radios are critical in the running of our events as we need to communicate with power boaters, lifeguards and land based support. The radios from Wicom arrived professionally packaged and charged ready to go. All radios were in great condition and had extra batteries, chargers and headsets. We had a few questions, but their support helped us right away. We feel very confident in using Wi-Com for our events and will definitely use them again.

They keep our crew, staff and volunteers connected via two-way radios during our three-day fundraiser, Stranded. The event is out in Water Valley and despite being in an area where reception should be an issue, we've always had no issues. Every member of staff we talk to leading up to and following the event is always a pleasure to deal with. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wicom has supported us for years, as well as the arts and the film industry in Calgary as a whole, and that very few other companies are willing to work with non profits as much as they are. They respond to requests quickly, and adapt to last minute requests very well.
The range of equipment available is excellent, and I’ve used the radios to talk to other venues across downtown, which I found very impressive. The tools they provide are essential to the festival, and without those tools, I couldn’t do my job.
