He liked it very much and soon asked for more ("20 minutes is too short") so we moved him to the Beginner to Intermedia class which is even better: he can go with his brother together. They had more fun and we saved time if different schedule.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our 8 year old son started in the Summer camp program 2021. He loved it. It was his favorite camp that he's attended. He is now registered in the full program. Master Ron , Lynn and the whole team are very welcoming, knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging. There is a real family vibe. Our son loves going classes every week. the schedule is flexible, he could go every day if he'd like. If he can't make it in person, he can also join virtually. Highly recommend WTKDA

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been Training with Master Ron and the Instructors for many years, and it has changed me as an Athlete, Fighter, and a Person. Through my many years, I've learned Discipline, Spirit, and Confidence. If you are looking for a place to learn and train Taekwondo, this is an amazing place. Master Ron and the Instructors are highly professional, yet very kind and welcoming, and will help take you anywhere you want to go with the sport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are new to Whitby Taekwondo Academy, but we are really enjoying the experience! We love:
* the people! Master Ron and Lynn are so friendly, it really feels like a family environment.
* Master Ron is encouraging and always positive with the kids. He's not a drill sargent, and he is able to command respect but also can make everyone laugh.
* lots of powerful girls practicing! I was worried it would be all boys but Master Ron allows his strong girls to be front and centre-- and often has them lead or instruct!
* the price! Two kids' memberships gets an adult for free! So my son (8), my daughter (6), and I all are learning!
* the unlimited attendance (come as often as you want for the same price)
* the amount of black belt instructors each class to offer one-on-one assistance and encouragement.
* Master Ron allows uniform t-shirts to be worn in leu of the long-sleeved dobok, which can get really hot because on regular practice days YOU WILL SWEAT!
* the clean facility
Bottom line: this martial arts studio is worth checking out. They offer a free trial, too!

He's so excited and I'm so happy for him! Everyone at Whitby Taekwondo Academy are very friendly and very professional. Can't wait for the next year for my son to grow with them!.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This past December our son was interested in learning Taekwondo. I decided to google where we could sign him up and came across Whitby Taekwondo Academy. He did a trial, and loved it. He continues to train online (due to the pandemic) and is extremely motivated by Master Ron and all of the teachers each class. The classes are great and they are doing a great job through the pandemic. If you or your child have an interest in Taekwondo, I highly suggest signing up here! We were so happy to find Whitby Taekwondo Academy!! Thanks for being such an incredible, welcoming place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are so glad we found Whitby Taekwondo! My child started there with their Summer Camps in 2020 and then progressed to their weekly classes. I have been so impressed with how they have handled safety precautions and Covid restrictions. I have always felt safe sending my child there. My child has gained so much confidence working with them. They are wonderful to work with, very understanding and we truly feel we will be a part of this extended “family” for years. Highly recommend!!!
