Whiskers Kitty-Cat Shop - S.A.I.N.T.S Registered Charity

We got our little guy here almost two years ago and we are so grateful to the amazing staff that made it possible for him to be part of our lives. They were thorough with his health checks and ensured we were prepared to take in a new cat. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and so caring for these animals.

Absolutely fantastic staff, volunteers. Gave me the proper tools for my very first adoption when PetSave couldn't/wouldn't. I recommend ANYONE to go to Whiskers for their adoptions!

Tremendously friendly and knowledgeable staff. The kittens and cats are lovingly cared for at this registered charity. The felines are allowed to roam freely as the entire space is set up for THEM. LOTS of windows for them to "watch cat tv" LOL. It is clean, and the animals seem exceptionally well cared for as they await adoption/fostering.

So much cuteness in one place! The people were friendly and welcoming and the kitties were amazing! We stopped in with our two kiddos and they loved it just as much as we did

This is a privately funded business, doing an incredible job. We have adopted 2 beautiful kittens, and continue to support them with donations.

Started out positive. Was approved. Went to see what cats were available and woke to an email that said thanks but no thanks. I emailed and messaged no response. I finally caught Maryanne by telephone who advised I was being "interviewed" when I went to the shop. I was not told I was being Interviewed... And certainty not by a volunteer who has no credentials to carry out said interview, or to make a decision about my ability to house or care for a cat. My words were twisted and misconstrued. I was judged and then she told blatant lies - stating I had made statements, or asked questions that I most certainly did not. I have always treated my pets as royalty. It would be a privilege for one of their hard to place cats to move into my home. This is saints loss not mine. Correction. It's the numerous cats' loss. I only feel bad that all of these cats could have homes if only the volunteers withheld judgement. I have since asked to see policy and for info on their regulatory board or whoever governs them with no response. I have since been provided with a screen shot of a message sent by this agency to all the other rescues citing my name address and phone number - in efforts to “blacklist” me. Full out breach of my privacy. It is absolute lunacy that a grown person, a gov't employee, who has raised 3 successful children, maintained the same home for 26yrs and rescued several animals over the yrs would not qualify to adopt a cat. I will add that had I chosen a cat that very day instead of taking some time to decide, a nice little cat would be happily moved in with me. But no. Now, one more cat must remain in whiskers shelter waiting for applicants who can't pass a volunteers expectations.

Just adopted a beautiful cat from here. The staff were very helpful and understanding. They let us have a lengthy trial period to make sure she would be a good fit for our family. Would recommend, plenty of adorable cats needing homes!

There is a reason this place has so many cats! They have a horrible reputation for holding on to animals for a very long time! keeping profits going! Less animals less income! Most of these animals would have homes right away but they prevent that from happening! They have held on to cats and misrepresenting there add online and not being honest about how long that animal had actually been there for! There priority for there animals isn’t quite there!
