★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not reviewing it as a customer but as a former employee. This place was an absolutely wonderful place to work. I worked here for 2 years and 4 months and I fully enjoyed every bit of that time. The manager is an absolute delight to work for, she'll probably be the best boss I'll ever have in my life, and the co-workers were wonderful too. It was such a positive environment to work in, definitely couldn't have asked for any better. If you are looking for work, I definitely recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I find the manager of the store to be a horrible person to deal with. She may even be the owner but she belittles people in the store in front of other customers. Not to mention the young girl that also works there Who comes off as a know it all but doesn’t understand the ingredients especially when you do and explain to her but it doesn’t matter what your opinion is it’s her opinion and that’s the only one that counts.
The young girl can’t take a hint when you want to be left alone so that you can check out the ingredients on your own and not be hounded by someone who thinks they know it all. Totally unprofessional by both of these women unlike any other pet value store. There is not much choice in Melville but we will do our best to tell as many people if they have an option to go out of town please do so.
