We decided to do an adventure instead of presents and it was so worth it!!! Being out in the mountains, with great company (2 and 4 legged), and great weather was a memory that will stay with us forever!! Thank you so much!! The guides and animals were amazing to work with. Being able to drive the sled ourselves was also awesome. And we had a absolute blast.

Was a very cold winter day but was well worth it. Highly recommend doing this. Beautiful trail and the dogs were adorable and very smart. Well trained.

You get to pet the dogs as much as you want, get spectacular views of Kananaskis, and it’s so cool to drive your own sled! Would recommend this company and this experience to anyone.
H	Heather D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just read the recent reviews of the cancellations; we also had ours cancelled due to a road closure via Alberta Parks a mere few days ago, but Snowy Owl was very accommodating as per their policy. They offered a full refund or a rebooking. We also, like the last review, had booked our accommodations around dog sledding BUT being aware of their policy that is stated in multiple places on their website and contracts, we knew stuff happens. Having to rebook entire tours is not easy but their dogs come first and they do what they can to offer great experiences. Customers also need to be kind on the phone and READ the policies!! Snowy Owl offered a few other options and even though our original booking changed, we still proceeded with a new slot and are so glad we did. What a phenomenal experience!!!! The guides were so much fun and thoroughly enjoy their jobs. I grew up around dog sledding, and this crew knows their stuff. Their dogs are treated with care and it shows. Dogs are in good health, are excited to do their jobs, and happy to be around so many people. Thank you so much for giving my family the same experiences I had as a kid. They loved every minute of it. We will be back and WILL book for longer!!

We had such an amazing time. The staff took the time to explain all of the dogs and their personalities which gave the experience an extra special touch. Special shout out to our guide Will- he was the best guide we could have asked for! It’s obvious all of the staff enjoy their jobs and love their dogs. We hope to come back and do this yearly!

We chose to rent 1 self driven sled. Don't be afraid to drive your own! They teach you how to do everything and guide you through the trail at every part. The scenery is stunning ? We left energized and wanting to book a longer session.

The staff was very kind and considerate to both us and their dogs. We especially liked our knowledgeable guide Derrick. We had no idea what a thrill seeker ride this would be — the dogs love to go fast! We were grateful our guide had such good control of every twist and turn! It was definitely a bucket list experience !

From the minute we arrived at the office, we were welcome by smiles. All the staff from Kaitlin behind the desk , Pablo the bus driver and our guide Rich, so many others that we can’t remember names, (sorry… ) were all so nice, polite and knowledgeable The dogs were so beautiful and awesome to interact with. Pretty wonderful to see how well treated the animals are. The tour was so fun and the scenery was unbelievable. After the tour you get to sit around a nice fire and enjoy a hot apple cider! I can’t wait to go and try the summer tour and rafting I highly recommend. Thank you so much snowy owl???
