Such a great place to visit. We minutes outside of Banff, and Banff National Park. Lots of hiking trails for the family. Bike rentals available if you want to go for a ride. Save on foods, Safeway and Canadian Tire are in town so you can pack stuff to bring and make while staying, but not to work if you forget anything because it is all there for your and close by to pick up if needed

Oh what a beautiful town! Switzerland of Canada! Small town surrounded by mountains! This place is walking/biking/skating pro town, by far the best! So many great restaurants and delicious food choices. Must stop by at least once and stay for a night! Highly recommended!!

Visited many times. It doesn't look the best from the highway driving past but believe me it's nice and up there with Banff and Jasper. Most of the buildings are really new and all the town looks good year round. So many activities like mountain biking, hiking, skiing, skating with plenty of rental shops. Lots of quality restaurants/bars to choose from. So many gift shops and cool stores. My favourite part is probably the Nordic center. Canmore gets pretty busy on weekends. Definitely worth the trip from Calgary alone.

Canmore is a real gem! I love the walking paths, hiking trails and magnificent views from a few places. My only disappointment was the lack of information and photos of the Canmore Hoodoos. It's a steep hike up a hill, that I had to find by exploring on my own. Google maps sends you to the parking lot and you seem to be on your own from there. I start walking and found them. The Hoodoos are small and few. I will do a review for them next.

Always perfect for a mini weekend getaway. Nice gems for accomodations, restaurants and specialty shopping. And lots of great places around for walks, hikes, photography.

One of my favourite places to go. Great hikes, fantastic food, scenic views everywhere you look. An amazing place to stop and catch your breath and recharge your personal batteries. So many memories over the years.
