★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful! Was the perfect outing for our toddler to get out and "hike." Mostly stroller friendly except for a few stairs at the start of the boardwalk section. Doing it in the fall is highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've come to this boardwalk every year since living in Alberta. It is peaceful, pleasant, and has plenty of wildlife and ducks (and cute ducklings almost every time!). The view is always breath taking and I highly recommend! If you bring a stroller, you just have to lift it down about 5 steps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been many years (20 years) since I've been to the mountains and WOW! I can't wait to go back again - Canmore is beautiful - I've never seen the water so clear, the skies so blue and just, WOW! Definitely recommend going to Policeman Creek - beautiful place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A gorgeous little trail located in the heart of Canmore. Definitely suitable for everyone of all levels of fitness and hiking skills. You'll get the backyard beauty that locals take for granted every day. This trail is used by runner, bikers and tourists, can be busy at times but plenty to room to squeeze by each other or step off the trail to let others pass. You'll want to bring a camera if so inclined and you'll be surrounded by nature in such a way that at times it's hard to remember your in the centre of town. Great way to spend an afternoon to walk off your lunch calories ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic view. Lovely boardwalk. We saw a mama elk sitting in the middle. Definitely worth it to take a stroll after or before dinner in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a lovely trail that is located in the middle of Canmore. There are beautiful mountain and lake views all around, which makes it easy to forget you’re in the middle of a city! It was very peaceful and not busy at all during a May weekday.
The boardwalk is sturdy, wide, and makes for an easy walk. There’s lots of wildlife to see, such as ducks, bunnies, and gophers. So beautiful!
