★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was here scouting for a location for a music video. It’s a very unique bridge for the lower mainland so it was very interesting to me for the shoot. The shot we were trying to get was a driving shot over the bridge that ends on a portrait of a man on the other side, but we decided not to shoot here after all, as it seemed like people might not be happy with us shooting without permits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a cool bridge, that you might hate because a boat needs it to "go under".
I've been on both sides of the experience; It's amazing that it has workers that will let you pass through and is also kinda annoying when you need to go over lol.
It's a cool part of Ladner none the less as the bird sanctuary is on the other side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Historic single-lane wooden bridge constructed between 1909 and 1912 that connects Westham Island with Ladner Village in Delta. You have to cross this to go the George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary and the Alaksen National Wildlife Area as well as various farms located on the island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Westham Island bridge is a 110 year old rustic truss bridge partially single lane located in Ladner, British Columbia.It’s a nostalgic feeling walking to a place full of historical heritage while watching flock of birds flying across. This is the only route by road to the Reifel Bird Sanctuary.
