We haven't been here for a few years. Stopped in yesterday to buy a bottle of their Sno Goos fruit wine after a trip to the Reifel Bird Sanctuary. Sadly the wine has a strong hint of an odd musty, medicine-like smell and taste. We aren't wine experts, but for $29 this was quite a disappointment.

My wife and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in Ladner and decided to visit on a whim. It was an amazing experience. Great host. Great location. Lots of other local loyal customers to chat with. A real community feeling. And the fruit wine? All so good and so different. We had a hard time deciding on what to buy! I liked the apple and blackberry but my wife liked the red current and strawberry. Such an awesome experience.

The wine's not bad; overpriced for what it is... but the two stars is mostly for the customer service. The lady seemed disinterested in telling us about the wines, she fed us each 1oz of the only wine she had open and expected us to spend $30 plus on other bottles that we had NO IDEA what the flavour would be. She was a bit snippity and we felt like we were intruding on her quiet afternoon.

I've had the opportunity to taste a number of the estate wines. The most resent was a gooseberry wine that had charter notes like a Chardonnay. One of my favorites is there blueberry wine. Great place to relax on the back patio or just shoot a game of pool with a few friends over a couple drinks. If your a bird enthusiast the annual snow geese migrate through the region, stop by for a sample you be really glad you did. Cheers

We are regulars. Excellent selection, and very friendly. We always enjoy our visits. Be sure to sign up for their frequent purchase card. All of the wines are treat. Not too sweet, and very refreshing. We usually pack a picnic basket, buy a chilled bottle, enjoy it in the backyard while the kids run around. Must visit. Best for nice sunny days, but they are open all year round. And the drive over is also nice as you cross the bridge by the house boats. take your camera, because the winery is next door to a blue house that is used for several big movie shoots.

Rudest customer service I’ve ever encountered. We were told they no longer do wine tastings even though their website says they do because they’ve β€œwon enough awards”. Honestly for so many awards I’ve never even heard of them before. Then the lady just blankly looked at us until we left.... we would have bought a bottle or two of wine and given them some business if she would have been friendlier and informed us on the bottles of wine and given us some recommendations. We went to Wellbrook Winery instead and they were fabulous! Go to Wellbrook NOT Angel.

Such an unpleasant experience! We dropped by today on our way home from the bird sanctuary to pick up a case of wine, as we normally do, and a birthday present for our daughter-in-law. We saw the neon sign saying "OPEN" so we parked and went in. We noticed a sign on the door saying that the winery would be closed from January to March. So when we entered I asked the person there if they were open. She very rudely replied, "The sign says we're open, doesn't it?" I then said that I had seen the sign on the front door saying that it would be closed from January to March. She replied, again very rudely, "I think I know what it says, I wrote it." We left immediately. I have never been treated so rudely before in my life. We have been going to your winery for years and have always had friendly service. We won't be coming back. There are plenty of fruit wineries in the area and we expect to get courteous service. This person needs a lesson in customer relations.

Very cute little winery with some tasty sweet fruit wines! I hope they get they're liquor license soon because their patio is perfect to sit and enjoy wine while looking over the fields :) walked away with their popular blueberry wine!
