When I inquired about my insurance policy, they were completely disorganized and couldnt find me in the system. I was double charged for 6 months on their end and it was like pulling hair to get it resolved. Terrible customer service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was sadly unimpressed by the service here and the quality. I was buying a new car off the lot and trying to set up insurance over the phone with western and they messed up all of my insurance information, over charged me and didn't finish the paper work. Leaving me left with nothing and forced to leave the lot with my new vehicle with only basic insurance. They told me the people had "left the office" for the day and they couldn't finish the paperwork. When the other branch later told me there are always people to put through the paperwork. As well as they sold me other add ons they claimed were mandatory when their other brand also said this was untrue. It has now been over 5 days and my insurance has not been settled and that was after dealing with the other branch on lakeshore trying to fix the whole mess. Rutland branch also messed up my renters insurance payments months before, as well overcharging me and pulling 2 payments. Then after having to call another branch to sort it out it still isn't fixed. Both occasions they said they would call me first thing in the morning to sort it out and they never did. I had to call many times just to be ignored and then deal with another branch. I do not recommend going here, it is just a big headache.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They deleted my review. My review saying that I was treated awfully, the rudest 50+ year old brunette constantly implying that I was a child and called me and my parent cheap. We also called to ask about their services before showing up, they did not call us back for 3 hours and by that point they were closing soon so we went in anyway. Turns out the lady went on her lunch and forgot about us. We had been going to this place for 10+ years but no more. Stay away unless you wanted to be treated like trash. Big props for deleting my review before by the way. Real professional, especially after we as loyal customers were treated so awfully.

First we needed vehicle insurance and we came back to get liability insurance for our company. She was a great help and found us the best plan to suit our needs. Highly recommend and will continue to do business here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been a customer here for three years. We defaulted into the insurance policy when we bought our house. The price for insurance went from 1000 dollars a year to 4000 in the span of 3 years. Their policies don't have good coverage either, our house is worth much more than they insured it for. Waste of time to shop here for a quote, they have a horrible attitude on the phone and even worse customer service if you go to a branch. Please go anywhere else for you home insurance needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shannon K of the lakeshore Rd Kelowna branch found us WAY better coverage for the same price we'd already been paying. With deductible costs that were actually reasonable! Eg: Over-land flood damage... (New provider's deductible) 1000.00 (OLD provider's deductible...) 10,000.00!!! Eg: Sewer back-up and water escape type claims... (New provider's deductible) 1000.00 (OLD provider's deductible) 5000.00!!! That's a huge potential savings if anything should ever happen (God forbid!) If it wasn't for Shannon we would never have even known. Thankfully there are people like her out there looking after us. "Can't thank you enough Shannon." "Keep up the good work!"
