If you are an oil and gas company seeking to open a new camp operation, set your sights elsewhere. Western will do nothing for you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The camp accomodations are slightly less then expected. Without a washer for two weeks had to cross a frozen parking lot to wash clothes. The lunch selection is limited. and often sandwiches are left in fridge for three days. The "fresh" vegetables appear to not be washed.
there are no healthy selections at dinner. as if it is vegetables it is coated with garlic and butter.
I have to stay at the camp for work. But if I got to choose a camp catering company Western is on the bottom of the list.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well if there was an option to give it 0 stars i would of selected that. Lets start with steak night boiled boot anyone, the beef is actually lowest grade and poorest cut you could get. The food has no to little nutrition, about 5 minutes after you eat you better be close to a toilet I am actually on the toilet right now writing this review because i just had deep fried grilled cheese.It has been brought to my attention that a local tortellini semi truck recently flipped over maybe that is the reason they have been feeding us tortellini everyday cause they got it on sale.The beds are comparable to sleeping on an uneven pile of rocks. Its not the camp staff they are doing there best, they have told us they are only allowed to serve us pasta and grilled cheese for lunch to cut down costs. They are charging oil companies 4000$ a day and taking 110$ from each employee per day. I have to ask where is all this money going. If you like boiled hot dogs,grilled cheese,over cooked pasta,more cheese,uneven lumpy beds,moldy smells western camp is unreal and the right choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Currently in one of your camps. And I can honestly say its one of the most terrible ones I have been in. Who in this day an age sends all the food that is all pre-packaged. Not one home cooked hasbrown. Got to love deep fried tater tots almost daily. How about pasta every other day for lunch. Pizzas on pita bread. Boiled hotdogs, grilled cheese, deep fried fries. This food is absolutely terrible, and I would be very embarrassed serving this to the hands that work hard for 12 hours a day. Only decent meal is dinner. But still, no pork chops or chicken. Currently eating nacho chips and salsa for lunch I brought from home. The excuse that money is tight is BS. My GF is a field supervisor for a catering company and is a red seal chef. You just need a fkn imagination.
