Numerous people approached me to ask who the caterer was, because the food and toppings were so good. The staff was polite and friendly, the clean up was quick and painless. I felt like management cared about my event, adding additional menu items just a few days before the party. I will absolutely hire this company again. Thank you for making me look so good in front of so many people!

Pilar approached us for additional funds in order secure a discount of our late night table. We agreed; and total deposit paid to Pilars was 50%. Then COVID hits. We change our date to August 2021 and Pilar confirmed our date and advised all was set for the new day. It wasn't until our venue reached out to us to inform us that another couple who was using their services received a "bounce back" email advising that Pilar's had closed down. That's it. Aside from the e-mail that comes back if you reach out to them first, there was absolutely no communication to their clientele. Talk about leaving people high and dry... In total; we paid over $6000 for zero services rendered from Pilar's.

We paid Pilar a deposit of $5400 upon signing the contract for our wedding. She then approached us saying that she would provide a free late night menu if we paid our second deposit of $3800 right away. We didn’t think anything of it because friends who had used her company in 2019 took advantage of the same deal. We were only notified of the business closing through an email bounce-back and haven’t been able to contact her anywhere since. She did not reach out to any clients to let them know or to pay back the deposits. With our wedding 4 months away, she has left us with no caterer, a huge deposit gone and no way to contact her.

Presentation was really well done. Cold separate from hot and strawberry shortcake desert in a mason jar. My guests were impressed! Delivery to my location was exactly as arranged. There is incredible value in the service and quality of the dinner which Pilar's catered. I will be sure to use them again!

We never received anything from Pilar indicating that she was going out of business. My fiancé and I were still planning to go ahead with our wedding plans this coming summer because we were done with constantly rescheduling. We called Pilar today to see if it would be possible to receive some of our money back as our original quote would no longer be needed due to numbers. If we had not given her a call to hear that her number is no longer in service, we would of had ZERO clue her company folded. I understand this year has been a challenge for everyone, but I can’t seem to wrap my head around how these couples who were planning their weddings get screwed over in the end? We are out almost $10,000 because we too trusted Pilar when she asked for more money for the “Late Night Snack Promo.” Just from these reviews alone, it seems Pilar has close to $35,000 in her pocket with no services completed. Very upsetting. I’m sorry to everyone who is facing the same challenge.
R	Rebly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pilar's catered my husbands 40th this past week-end. With very little information from me, she provided me with five (!) different fantastic and creative options that covered the cost and setting spectrum. All of the service from start to finish was great but the food - oh my goodness the food! Everyone raved that it was better than most weddings they had been to and I had one guest go down the line taking a video. She will definitely be getting repeat business from all of us. It was a wonderful experience.
D	Denise Soares on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pilar's Catering does not deserve a rating of 1 star, this caterer deserves zero stars for the way she scammed so many couples during what was already such a stressful time due to Covid-19. Unfortunately, like many other couples my husband and I paid a 30% deposit and then paided an additional 20% for the late night promo. We lost over $6000.00, didn't receive any services and were never notified of the business closing. I'm glad there is some light being shed on this matter and hope that justice will be served.
