★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Christmas gift exchange policy ever!!! I bought my son a pair of pants on Nov. 28 at this teen and young adult clothing store. Recently they stopped giving refunds and only offer exchanges within 14 days. The cashier did not offer me a gift receipt for my Christmas gift purchase. The pants did not fit and when I went to exchange them after Christmas for a larger size I was told I could only do it if I had a gift receipt. At West 49 a gift receipt is more valuable than the actual receipt. I will never shop at any YM group stores ever again including Stitches, Bluenotes, Urban Planet, Suzy Shier, etc. West 49 clothes are expensive and they have a dollar store no refund policy!

Went in there to exchange a pair of pants that were too big, I had my receipt and in the store it said hey have a 14 day return policy, okay that’s fine there.
I exchanged it there less than 14 days. I asked this employee if I could exchange them & he very rudely said I guess.
Went to find a new pair, said employee came up to me and told me they weren’t doing exchanges anymore, rolled his eyes, but said he would let this one slide. Which is also fine, but it’s how his attitude was towards me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their kids shoes are very poor quality. On par with or worse than Walmart shoes except Walmart at least has a return policy. Just paying for a name on a poorly made item. They will never take anything back.
