Boathouse began in 1963 as a small business in the Canadian city of St. Catharines, Ontario. Known locally as Arlies, the shop specialized in active lifestyle apparel and footwear, catering to outdoor thrill-seekers and sports enthusiasts alike. Since that time we have expanded our presence in Canada to more than 80 stores nation-wide, now known to most as Boathouse. We continue to sell active lifestyle brands, offering the best in clothing, footwear, accessories and more. In 2008 we launched Boathousestores.com, bringing the Boathouse experience to you at home, or wherever you choose to shop.

The woman at the front of the store was very short and not friendly and when my friends and I went to try on some hats we were fully planning to buy a female worker comes up to us and very rudely snatched them from our hands. Needless to say we did not feel inclined to spend our money here after that experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The employees at this store are extremely rude and could care less that you are even shopping there. Line up of customers at the till and the cashier was not helping the customers with purchases but ringing through return inventory instead. Manager came over and could care less about the line up either. We dealt with the manager there today and can see where the staff gets their attitude from. Will not shop there again.

As soon as we entered asked a question about return and she was ready with her rude reply. Didn’t even bother to apologise at the end and made sure she was arrogant until we left the store. No wonder why this store has so many negative reviews. Completely ruined the entire mood to shop. I wish I had just visited Below the belt and not this store.
