The older lady working at the counter is extremely rude. They sell "dog" food but when asked if it is for dogs, they will tell you "no, but give it to ur dog at ur own risk." Yet they sell it as dog bones/food. Get your information straight. IS IT DOG FOOD OR IS IT NOT? Couldnt answer question on whether the bone is raw smoked or cooked smoked. Hope this place shuts down soon. No place for business owners like this.

Love the sausages and other deli meats, don't have one similar around the area. Hours are a bit all over the place and the seller was a bit pushy

Overall good product but service could be better. Ive been here more than a few time but they aren't usually open in the morning. Not five star because they don't have scheduled hours or a phone number to check if they are open. And even though they say they open at 1pm that is not always the case. I was told to come back for products in a few days, have gone at 2pm and they still weren't open. Their products are good quality and that's why I go back but service is subpar at times as you can be continually ignored as the lady chats up the previous costumer or someone that isn't even buying things. I'm not talking about wait for like a minute but you can stand at the deli window and she will continue talking for 5-8 more mins. The last time she ignored me until i interrupted her conversation for some service as the lady she was talking to clearly was done her shopping. Usually she is very friendly and will give you samples of meats and try to find out what you like but lately she seems to care less about providing good service. I asked for sliced prosciutto from the deli display case but she told me to get prepackaged ones from the fridge as she can't slice it because it is too large. I have gotten sliced prosciutto before here so I cant help but feel she just could not be bothered because I wanted to buy something in the middle of her chat. So food is real good here but go check it out in the afternoon and just don't expect very friendly service. Its my go to place for deli meats since i tried it a couple months ago. Their products have consistent flavor. Much perfer their selection over independent grocers. If you aren't sure about what you want they usually offer you a sample to see what you like. Their proscuittio is lovely and so are their salami. They also have doggie treats and jerky that look tasty :).

its nice that there are specialty meats in this neighborhood but whats with the signs right at the front "no loitering" "no soliciting" "no photos" "no credit card unless over $15" . feels very unwelcoming when you walk in to browse

Never open, never answers or replies. Don't waste your gas as it will disappoint. The corned beef was good (once bought at donalds mkt.) but seems need a special code word or something to buy it from the store..

Over priced stale products. Some of the stuff is ok but not worth the trip. The older lady who works there has quite the attitude and she doesn’t really seem like she wants anybody to shop there since it’s barely ever open and I asked her her hours of operation and she told me “ sometimes we’re here from 2 to 6 but we try to be here during the day” Whatever that means lol Beef jerky is easy to make you can just YouTube simple recipes and everything else I would recommend going to Columbus meat market on Nanaimo street. Way better prices way better products and absolutely way better service.

Just discovered this wonderful spot. The best mortadella I’ve ever tasted and at $21.00 kg, the best priced. Also terrific is the prosciutto salami and various pates. Gammon bacon, first class. Bravo.

This place is amazing An absolute gem in Killarney Been going here for 5 years Incredibly fair prices Awesome selection. Any complaints about the owner can be written off as cultural barriers, so ignore them. If you actually chat with her and aim for genuine human connection while getting top top top notch Cured and Smoked meats, she can be quite charming in her badass butcher woman way 10/10
