The machinery was better than at the other optometrists I had been to; seemed newer and more refined. The trainees and front-end staff were super helpful, friendly and efficient, and seemed passionate about what they did and about their clients. The doctor took the time to answer all of my questions and responded to each of the concerns that I listed on my intake form, explaining everything to me while still being efficient. Unfortunately, not only was the wrong prescription used to replace the lens, the right one was unnecessarily replaced as well, and I was charged a phenomenally high price for the lenses. Although the correct lens was inserted [at no extra charge, they generously offered!!], I found that frames and lenses are available at other other opticians for considerably less. When I tried to book a follow up visit this year, I was told that the appointment I booked on line was invalid, and that I would be called with another time. Almost three weeks later, I'm still waiting. A higher degree of competence and attention to patients' needs would be desirable.

They knew which frames would suit my face and style making the experience comfortable and easy. They offer a great selection of frames that aren't mass-manufactured and backed by great customer service. Will definitely be returning and recommending!

Dr.Clarke made me feel very comfortable and took the time to thoroughly explain my eye health. The staff in the front are welcoming and knowledgeable of lenses. Was also impressed by the cleanliness/sanitizing, along with overall aesthetic of the location. Looking forward to my next checkup with Wellington Vision Care in two years!
K	Kamilla Riabko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are an MVA patient - stay away! Although the clerical staff were kind, the doctor I dealt with was very unpleasant during my second visit. Very condescending, rushed the appointment, and yelled at his assistant when she returned to him with a question that I had asked before leaving (it was loud enough to hear through the walls). When following up via email, his clerical staff were mis-informed about logistical processes related to Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) systems and submitted treatment plans without my informed consent. As a clinic that deems itself specializing in vision care for persons with brain injury, I was very disappointed at the treatment I received from the doctor, and the lack of accountability from the clerical staff for their multiple errors with my paperwork. Working with this clinic has aggravated my anxiety difficulties and took me weeks to overcome the traumatic events from my visit. This review is from a vulnerable place and may be an isolated incident, however I hope to share it to bring attention to an experience that may resonate with someone else.

They take so well care of you from the minute you step in until you have the new glasses in your hands. My case was a bit of an emergency and I had my new glasses ready within a few hours. So happy!
