I cannot recommend this clinic if you have a relatively urgent issue. When I visited this clinic one morning, they told me I could see a doctor in the afternoon or choose telephone consulting. I chose the latter, but a phone call never came. I tried to reach them before the clinic closed, but I found they shut the line down. So I ended up going to EMERGENCY on the day.

I would give 5 stars to my GP/family doctor, as she has been both mine and my mother's GP for over 30 years. 1 star for the experience of trying to reach my GP in the first place. It's 2:32pm. I've been pressing "3" on the numberpad since 1:47pm. Calls cannot be put on hold? So we are forced to keep trying until someone picks up. Or until we give up trying. We are told that we can go to virtualclinics.ca to book an appointment. I do that. The only available date is Jan 11th and onward. I am forced to create an account in order to book. I try using the direct Hastings Sunrise Medical Clinic website to book an appointment. It allows me to proceed until... I am prompted to pick a date. I cannot book on the day of (which is 12/30/2021). All bookings for the next few days are presumably full or the clinic isn't open? And something as soon as Monday, January 3rd (4 days from now) gives the message "we don't book that far ahead". You guys don't book telephone appointments more than 4 days ahead? Nor are we put on hold, so we have no idea if the lines are busy or if there's even a body occupying the receptionist desk. There's absolutely nothing I can do except to keep pushing 3 on the numberpad, only to be brought back to the original automated message. It says the clinic is OPEN. If it is not, then it should say CLOSED. If there is nobody at the receptionist desk, there should be some sort of notification to let the recipient know to STOP TRYING as well as being informed of an appropriate time to call back!

I booked an appointment here 4 months ago to see a family doctor. I was really excited to finally have a family doctor after living here for a decade. Anyways I check in and there is only one other person there. Wait 15 minutes, that person and myself have still not be seen. Another person walks in with an appointment at quarter past the hour and is seen immediately. I wait another 20 minutes and still nothing. I stand up to speak to the receptionist and she is nowhere to be found. After waiting for my appointment for almost 45 minutes I finally just leave. Edit: They followed up 5 months later about this review, I responded immediately and it's been several weeks no response. Fantastic.

I have been a patient with Dr. Porter here for 4 or 5 years now, and never had anything but good experiences, she is a friendly doctor, and doesn't make me feel rushed like some doctors have in the past. The office staff has always been pleasent to talk to and make appointments. I haven't see any of the doctors at the clinic.

I've been trying, and failing, to book a phone appointment with the doctor I've been seeing about an on going health issue for days, calling in the morning and being told to call back tomorrow cause they are all booked (by 930/10am). The policy of not booking more than a day in advance is pretty terrible and I've been told by staff it's easier to go to another clinic. It's fine walk in for minor issues, but if you have a ongoing problems I would steer clear. I don't know if it's this clinics policy or the parent company Well's but it's the worst experience I've ever had trying to get a doctor's appointment.

The receptionist was super friendly and professional. Had my first phone appointment with Dr. Noble and I will say he seems like one of the most genuine doctors - which is really hard to find at walk in clinics. He listened and gave good recommendations. He was really proactive and didn’t dismiss my health concerns! I’ll defs be coming back :)

Why do I place 1 is because they use the term WALK IN but they have NO WALK IN doctor at 2pm apparently YOU need to call in ADVANCE and get an spot for the FUTURE. They make YOU before entering to scan QR and get all your information just to say CALL tomorrow morning in case YOU are LUCKY. Lucky for me pharmacist next door suggest NORTHEAST URGENT CARE 10M walk or 5 driving and while writing this review I AM IN no waiting TIME.

I don't know why this states it opens at 8. Got there at 8 (me and another guy were the first 2 people there). First receptionist arrived at 8:10. I was told that the earliest I could see a doctor was 9 as "depends on the day but doctors usually come in around 9." Like, just say you open at 9. The other guy was also confused and was going to be late to work because of having to wait a whole hour. Otherwise, no issues with staff. Dr. Noble was wonderful, kind and helpful. I have also seen Dr. Porter here and absolutely love her.
